SANDEEP KAROGAL JOINS DHR INTERNATIONAL AS EXECUTIVE VICE
PRESIDENT IN THE FIRM’S SINGAPORE OFFICE
SINGAPORE, June 2009 – Global executive search firm DHR International is pleased to announce that
Sandeep Karogal has joined as Executive Vice President and is based out of the firm’s Singapore office.
Mr. Karogal brings a unique blend of industry and consulting experience. He has successfully led searches for
various leadership roles with MNC’s spread across different geographies in Asia Pacific, the Middle East, South
Africa and Europe.
Mr. Karogal has a credible track record of successful appointments for complex and niche positions in high
technology domains including: Automation & Controls, Aerospace, Environmental Technologies, EMS–Electronic
Manufacturing Services, Power Systems–Power Generation, Transmission & Distribution, Power Products, Oil &
Gas and Petrochemicals. His experience also spans across diversified engineering domains including Metals &
Mining, EPC Projects–Civil Infrastructure & Power Plants, Real Estate, Engineering Services, Auto & Auto
components, Specialty Chemicals, Industrial Consumables & Textiles.
Prior to joining DHR, he served as the Industrial Regional Practice Head with a European search firm, based in
Singapore and covering Asia Pacific. Earlier in his career he led the Industrial Practice for Stanton Chase
International in Mumbai, India; he successfully completed numerous landmark assignments in the Energy,
Infrastructure and Mining domains. He has provided strategic advice to various Boards of key clients on succession
planning, cultural diversity and leadership mobility issues.
He started his career with an American MNC, Kennametal—a global cutting tools company covering Application
Engineering and Techno—Commercial functions for the EPG–Engineered Products Group business.
Mr. Karogal is an active member of the Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SICCI).
He holds a Masters in Business Management along with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from
Karnatak University in India.
