The group will be divided into smaller groups; they will be
working together (having evaluation and group
discussions) during the Project. Name games and getting
to know each other activities in the groups.
Hopes and fears: What do we expect of this project?
What do we want to learn? What are we afraid of?
Introduction of the White Stork Synagogue. “Who are we,
what do we do, and why is our work important?”
Discussion in the small groups> prepare a small
presentation of what you just learned about the
foundation’s work.
Group-debate: “Which topics and in which ways do we
want to present them during our project?”
Tour of the “History reclaimed: Jewish Life in Wrocław and
Lower Silesia” exhibit at the White Stork Synagogue.

Respect through Norwegian, Yiddish, Polish, English and
Hebrew songs led by Bente Kahan (Results from all
workshops to be presented in the White Stork Synagogue

Introduction to Wrocław History and Wrocław sightseeing:
Old Town square, City Museum and Jewish sites
Meeting with Chris Schmauch guest from the United
States, born near Breslau before WWII, now living in the
States. Chris will share his experiences as the child of a
Protestant pastor growing up in Nazi Germany before
World War II.
Norwegian evening: Norwegian Youth-group. Evaluation:
Norwegian group-leader.

We would ask participants to bring photos of people,
places and things, maps and any other materials that they
feel show their roots, values and identity (to be made into a
huge group collage)
Identity and Mutual Respect Visual Arts workshop with
Yoav Rossano, Israeli-French artist at the Foundation as
part of the concluding presentation on November 9
Evening Disco at the Bezsenność Club - where our
participants can present favorite music from their
countries. Concert by Funk Fiction – a local band

Protestant churches and Jewish community and their
representatives

mini-presentation tomorrow(for day 6) for participants
Discussion in small groups: actual problems in daily-life
