Getting to Know the AMX Touch Panel

Other Important Facts
1.) If you would like to bring your own laptop, you have the ability to do so. The VGA cable and speaker wire are coiled up
to the left of the monitor that is sitting on top of the desk.
2.) If you are trying to boot into the Windows side of the room computer you must choose WIU-AD from the drop-down
menu on the log in screen. If the computer will not successfully boot into windows, restart the computer and hold
down the Option key on the keyboard to enter the Windows operating system.
3.) You must power the Elmo, DVD, and VCR on with the Power buttons provided on the devices. The room panel does
not turn these items on. The DVD and VCR combo is located inside of the cabinet. The ELMO document camera is
located on top of the desk.
4.) There is a separate Lamp switch on the top arm of the Elmo. It should come on automatically when the Elmo is
turned on. If you need to turn it off you can use the switch on the top arm of the Elmo to do so.
5.) To Power Down the room, press the power button and wait for everything to shut down. It is not necessary to turn off
the CPU in the room.
6.) Food and Drink are not allowed in this electronic classroom.
