Purpose: The Indian Undergraduate Association, or the IUA as we are often calle
culture on the Stevens Campus. IUA organizes two annual cultural fes
semester, we organize the Diwali Show to celebrate the Indian Festival o

Garba Night
Description- A traditional west Indian festival which involves a lot of dancing. This has been one of IUA's
most successful events in the past where family and friends all come out to take part in the joyfilled
night. Western Indian food is traditionally served after the garba in order to spread the blessings that
were received from the enthic dance.

Meet and Greet IUA's Alumni
Description: Alumni networking event in which undergraduate students will be able to meet and ask
Steven's alumni and array of questions. At this event a bone marrow drive with Samar will also be
conducted. SAMAR's mission for the past 17 years has been to give South Asians suffering with
leukemia and other blood diseases another chance at life. Samar is an official recruitment group with
the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) which maintains the "Be The Match Registry", the national
registry of the U.S. This event hopes to bring awareness of issues which directly affect our lives on a
daily basis through hearing from the alumni and getting informed by Samar.

Description - A formal will serve as an opportunity to dress in Indian attire and enjoy a night with
individuals who took part in IUA throughout the semester. This is a celebratory closing to the semeste
reward for all members for their diligent efforts and participation. A cultural aura will be set by the
