To participate in Palmetto Leadership Chester County you must submit an application and pay a $175.00 nonrefundable program fee. Your application and program fee must be submitted to the Chester County Clemson Extension office (109 Ella Street Street, Chester) by September 15, 2009. Please make checks payable to Clemson University.

When: Monthly 1/2 day Sessions September 2009 - June 2010 Why: Network with other area leaders, learn more about yourself, Chester County and how to make a difference in your community.

PALMETTO LEADERSHIP COMPONENTS

Leadership Development includes skills development in leadership styles, communication, team building, conflict management, group dynamics, and self-understanding. Community Awareness provides participants with the opportunity to learn more about Chester County including topics such as economic and community development, health-care, government and law, social service, education, and agriculture. Community Service Project provides a team approach to addressing a public need. Participants will conduct a service project aimed at improving the quality of life in their community.
