Part 1

1. Create a new word document and save it as Alligator Purse.

2. Key the following text:

The Lady with the Alligator Purse

Miss Lucky had a baby. His name was Tiny Tim. She put him in the bathtub to see if he could swim.

He ate up all the soap. He drank up all the water. He tried to eat the bathtub, but it wouldn’t go down

his throat. Miss Lucky called the family doctor. Miss Lucky called the nurse. Miss Lucky called the

lady with the alligator purse. “Mumps,” said the doctor. “Measles,” said the nurse. “Hiccups,” said the

lady with the alligator purse. Out went the nurse. Out went the lady with the alligator purse.

makes sense in context.

16. Copy this format to the two other occurrences of alligator in the paragraph.

17. Justify the paragraph.

18. Place the insertion point at the end of the paragraph and strike the enter key twice.
