Brukner Nature Center is a non-profit, educational organization. The mission of the center is to provide environmental education opportunities. The purposes are to encourage all people of all ages to appreciate, understand and enjoy the environment along with man's historic and continuing interrelationship with it and to educate people in making responsible decisions regarding the conservation, preservation and use of our natural resources.

Winners will be announced December 17, at 8:00pm following the Winter Solstice Concert. A reception and prizes will be included! Photos remain on display until March 21st.

Eligibility - Works by both amateur and professionals 17 years or older are eligible for this is a juried event, but BNC reserves the right to reject any work that is considered to be inappropriate. All photographs must be taken at Brukner Nature Center in the categories of ‘Wildlife’, ‘Plants & Landscapes’ or ‘People Enjoying the Outdoors’.

Entries and Fees - The entry fee per piece is $15 for BNC Members, $20 for non-members. There is no limit on the number submitted. Presentation - All pieces must be framed and ready for secure hanging with a wire on the back. The minimum size is 11”X14”, maximum size is 24”X36”, outside dimensions. Please attach an information form (included on the middle panel of this brochure) to the back of each piece of work. Delivery of work - Please drop off photographs from Nov. 15 - Dec. 1, 9:30am - 4:30pm at Brukner Nature Center, 5995 Horseshoe Bend Road, Troy, Ohio 45373. Sales and Commission - All photographs displayed are for sale, but may not be picked up until March 21. A 25% commission on sales will benefit BNC’s mission to promote wildlife conservation through environmental education. Pick up of work – Entries should be picked up between March 21 and April 4, during regular business hours. After April 5, unclaimed artwork will be considered a donation to BNC.

Artist Release– REQUIRED! I understand that while all reasonable and possible care will be taken, Brukner Nature Center cannot assume liability for my work. I further understand that Brukner Nature Center strongly recommends the purchase of temporary insurance and that it is my financial responsibility should I desire it. A commission of 25% will be assessed on all the sales of my work displayed. I understand that work left past the pickup deadline will be considered a donation to Brukner Nature Center. I have read all of the artist's guidelines.
