Framing Pictures
Choose a partner in class to take pictures around campus. You are to take pictures using
the following elements:
One pic using Rule of Thirds
2 different pics changing your point of view
One pic with subject in cluttered surroundings
One pic with subject in uncluttered surroundings
One pic with good example of head room
One pic with bad example of head room
One pic dissecting your subject
One pic not dissecting your subject
One pic each: long shot, midshot, close-up, big close-up
Once you have finished, you will have 13 pics. Move your pics to your home directory
and rename according to the element used. Create a “Photo Album” in PowerPoint of
these pics. Add a title to each slide naming the element. Save As Framing Pictures.
Points will be deducted for not properly using any element.
