FRIDAY All Day Schedule of Events FRIDAY, Sept. 25 continued 10 am - Arts & Crafts Booths: 6 pm along the bike trail. Enjoy visiting with talented artists and buying woodcrafts, baskets, jewelry, pottery, paintings, fiber arts, and more. 10 am & Harvesting & Using Herbs: Honey Rock Herb Farm 2 pm presentations. Plants are for sale all day. (In the Storytelling Tent) 10 am – Meet the Llamas: From Liles Acres Organic Farm, 3 pm and see their wool spun into yarn. (In the woods, front of Visitors Center) SATURDAY, Sept. 26 continued 10 am 6 pm September 25 Appalachian skills & Demonstrations : There will be cornmeal making, blacksmithing, beehive observation, lye soap making, mountain berry baskets, sorghum molasses, apple butter making, old time toys, Appal. Bluegrass and mountain music jam sessions all day on the porch at the Townsend Visitors Center. Bands play on the Pavilion Stage during the afternoon and evening. BBQ plates, hot sandwiches, home-made ice cream, and other great food and beverages will be sold all day Friday and Saturday.
