Do not use for Work rule definitions.

Sets the FPU threshold of each terminal. The default is medium. On earlier versions of

TimeLOG, this could only be altered by sending the parameter synsetsensorparameter from the

to medium and the command to change the threshold would have to be sent again.

This new Icon allows the user to identify the type of Fingerprint unit being used.

(moved from Display badge)

Note that the new S300 is available with 9.2

Balance

Balances at the Clock can be displayed as either Time Classification or Pay Category, the setting is

SYEXECUTE

SYExecute .exe is the program that permits Auto.exe to act as a Service.

WORK RULES

As mentioned on page 5 (Terminal Set-up) Employees can change work rules at the terminal, but

ONLY if the box Send to Terminal is ticked.

Selecting the Comments bar, opens up a notepad where the

compiler can add notes of how the rule should work. Changes and corrections should also be added.

This Icon to the top right of the Work Rules screen is a short cut to Process.txt.

Process.txt improves the functionality of TimeLOG by adding formulas to Work Rules. There are

two ways to write a formula.

1.In the TABS folder rename the Process.tx_ = Process.txt.

2, Create within the Work rules. The screen is divided into two sections the left being the Notepad

and the right side, divided into three sections, the function side.

Break parameters

The following screen is accessed by opening the Break parameter window

Check min.break time if used, any exit less than the

parameter set will NOT be recorded as a break.

Check max.break time if used, any exit greater than the

parameter set will NOT be recorded as a break.

Break must be in the range If the break is outside of the

Break window the time will not be considered a break.

BUT if the break extends ino the window it will be

considered a break.

To use make the break Window in the Template shorter

than the START & END Break fields

These settings are to the right of the screen and may be used in conjunction with the above break

PERSONNEL

A new tab has been introduced User defined fields. The lines for this file were outlined on page 4 of

this document.

Selecting the tab produces a list of all the possible options configured in the Dictionary. The entry is

only ‘live’ against an employee if a date is entered into the date field.

Access Levels

The number of access levels has increased. The first 6 are as version 9.0

The new access levels are self explanatory

Password

This has been increased to 6 with greater control of its use. The Dealer module configures the method

to be applied and is considered to be self explanatory.

Leaving date

When entering a leaving date the system will automatically copy

the date to the Badge expiry date. The purpose of this action is to ensure that employees that have

departed are not sent to the T&A clocks or the Access terminals.

Balance Tracking

The date in Start Date is now the actual date hat the employee’s balance will be credited.

The daily Balance Report should be taken with care. If the from and to date includes the start of a

period just before the expected balance credit, the available hours prior to the Balance date will be

displayed incorrectly (the data though is correct). The report should be taken from the start of the

credit date, or after providing it does not cover a new balance period.

Clicking on Save as allows the User to copy another employee’s Balance profile.
