Sales Support Specialist – Broadband Solutions (2002 to 2008)

Reported digital subscriber line (DSL) sales for consumer, business, and wholesale customers. Analyzed

data on Verizon Online DSL Metrics website and updated site with sales relative to DSL with new

requirements and coding.



Report Generation / Creation:

 Improved accuracy of data and reporting delivery, and saved 1,000+ hours annually by creating

online database to maintain sales data. Trained users and provided 24/7 access to data.

 Helped save $300+/hour in payroll costs while improving reporting accuracy: major player in

creation of separate online database furnishing selected data for report-production purposes. Taught

cross-functional personnel to use websites and export to Excel pivot tables.

 Eliminated ~80 payroll hours daily by initiating and assisted in development and documentation of 2

websites to deliver historical data for sales projections.

 Saved $150K+ per year and resolved recurring inaccuracy by streamlining operations to eliminate

need for reporting specialists on each team. Built templates and data sources to assist in handling

several reports at once with very little hands-on activity.

 Maintained calendar driver for all sales reporting of DSL that transported data into proper date,

saving ~80 hours of manual reporting labor - daily, weekly and monthly.



Report Maintenance / Documentation:

 Increased reporting efficiency to provide optimal weekly and monthly sales reports for VPs and other

executives, and ad hoc reports to individuals and teams to support business, consumer and wholesale

channels.

 Improved reliability of sales reports by creating system that used sales codes to allocate to proper

department.

 Collected sales data daily and sent results to 300+ managers each day, saving each of them ~3 hours a

day and allowing each organization insight on its teams' results.

 Assisted in Scorecard call by updating data daily, adding formulas to drive data, and leading call to

analyze day-to-day call and sales volumes.

 Ensured accuracy of data to pass frequent audits with 99.8% accuracy record.
