How computers help us in school?
They help us if we need to find information on a
report or if we need pictures for a project
They help us when we do homework because
you might need to find information that you
couldn’t find in a book.
They also help kids with their typing like paws
and typing town.
How can they help us at work?
If you work at a doctors office they come in
handy when you need to schedule some one
for a appointment.
They also help businesses advertise their
business so they get more customers.
They can also help people if they want to
present something to their boos they can
type it.
How are computers helpful at home?
Computers can be helpful at home in all
different ways. Like if you are looking for a
recipe to cook you can just look on the
internet.
They also are helpful for looking on your kids
school website to see if they have homework
or if there is a a field trip coming up.
Are computers safe?
Computers are very helpful but there are some
dangers about them like MySpace because other
people can see someone’s name age and maybe
even where they live.
AIM is another site that can be dangerous
because you can talk to people you might not
even know.
So even though computers are very helpful there
can be some dangers to them.
Computer Games
There are so many computer games out there
but the question is are they all safe for young
kids?
You can buy computer games at a lot of stores
so you can see what they are about but when
kids search on the web for game sites you
don’t know what they are about.
Microsoft works
Microsoft works is a processor that kids can
type a report on and it shows the kids if they
spelled something wrong.
Even adults use Microsoft works because
they might have a paper to type for their
boss.
You can change fonts and the size and even
the color.
