Directions:
You are an employee of a stockbroker company called We Call’em Like We See’em, Inc.
You are a stock analyst. You represent clients who are interested in identifying strong
growth stocks. Your clients are willing to remain invested in the market for over ten
years. Your job is to select at least three companies to study. Your research should
include, at minimum, the following steps:
1. You and your partners select three companies to study from a list of
recommended firms. Value Line Reports will be distributed on a USB drive.
You may select companies from this list or from other sources. We will
encourage you to select companies in different sectors.
2. Complete one NAIC Stock Checklist for each company using a Value Line
Report. Include a copy of the Value Line Report in your final report.
3. Complete the Stock Report Card that summarizes information about each
company that you are following and your recommendation about whether your
client should buy, hold, or sell the companies you have studied.
4. Turn in your complete report on each company including the Stock Report Card
on Friday, July 16, 2010. You will also present one of your Stock Report
Cards to the group on Friday, July 16, 2010.

5. What does your company produce? Services for banking needs.
6. Who are its customers? Corporations, financial institutions, governments, institutional
investors, retail investors and high net worth individuals.
7. What are its plans for the future? Reduce credit card costs and pickup revenue from
midsized businesses.
8. What did the NAIC Stock Check List and Value Line reveal about the sales of this
company? Dip in 2008 due to stock market decline.
9. What did the NAIC Stock Check List and Value Line reveal about the earnings of this
company? With the exception in years with negative activity in stock market 2008,
2001, JPM shows steady growth.

margins of this company? They were pretty stable and constant.
11. What did the NAIC Stock Check List and Value Line reveal about the share price of
this company (price earnings ratio)? They remained fairly constant over the last five
years.
12. Do you think there will be a growth in demand for this company’s products? Why or
why not? Yes, JPM has competitive investment products and credit cards
