Data Recovery
There are already two very good articles about what to do when something bad happens - ‘Keeping your
data safe’ and ‘Coping with digital disasters’, but sometimes further help is needed.
The following options are available for an attempt to recover the data should it become inaccessible or
corrupted:
• You can attempt to recover the data yourself by using Software such as:

Or
Ontrack Easy Recovery - http://www.ontrack.com/easyrecovery/
Or
PC Inspector - http://www.pcinspector.de/file_recovery/uk/welcome.htm
• You may look for a professional data recovery company on the Internet, for example in Google by
entering “data recovery” in your region. This will be the most reliable data recovery option available
and the highest chance of retrieving the lost data, as those companies usually are able to access the
memory cells directly.
Most of the software listed above are only compatible with Windows based operating systems.

Also, some of our CompactFlash cards (namely the Ultimate ones) come with a pre-installed data recovery
