November 8-11, 2010, (during the period Monday
through Thursday of the initial week for the fall signing
of the National Letter of Intent).
April 11-14, 2011, (during the period Monday through
Women’s Gymnastics Thursday of the initial week for the spring signing of the
National Letter of Intent).
Dead Periods April 14-18 (noon), 2011, (the day before the first day of
the Division I Women’s Gymnastics Championships to
noon on the day after the championships).
November 8-11, 2010, (during the period Monday
through Thursday of the initial week for the fall signing
of the National Letter of Intent).
April 11-14, 2011, (during the period Monday through
Men’s Ice Hockey Thursday of the initial week for the spring signing of the
National Letter of Intent).
Dead Periods April 6-10 (noon), 2011, (Wednesday prior to the
Division I Men’s Ice Hockey Championship to noon on
the Sunday after the game).
November 8-11, 2010, (during the period Monday
through Thursday of the initial week for the fall signing
of the National Letter of Intent)
March 17-21 (noon), 2011, (the day prior to the Division
Women’s Ice Hockey I Women's Ice Hockey Championship to noon on the day
after the game).
Dead and Quiet Periods April 11-14, 2011, (during the period Monday through
Thursday of the initial week for the spring signing of the
National Letter of Intent).
April 25 through May 31 2011, is considered a quiet
period. [Monday prior to the American Hockey Coaches
Association Convention (April 28 through May 1)].
November 17-22 (noon), 2010, (Wednesday prior to the
Field Hockey Division I Field Hockey Championship to noon on the day
after the game).
Dead Periods January 31 through February 3, 2011, (during the period
Monday through Thursday of the initial week for the
signing of the National Letter of Intent).
Soccer and Men’s Water Polo January 31 through February 3, 2011, (during the period
Monday through Thursday of the initial week for the signing of
Dead Periods the National Letter of Intent).
November 8-11, 2010, (during the period Monday through
All Other Sports Thursday of the initial week for the fall signing of the
National Letter of Intent).
Dead Periods April 11-14, 2011, (during the period Monday through
Thursday of the initial week for the spring signing of the
National Letter of Intent).
Exceptions: When the dead period for recruiting occurs during the U.S.
U.S. Diving Diving National Championships, it shall be permissible for
National Championships authorized coaching staff members to observe prospective
(Bylaw 13.17.11.1.1) student-athletes participating in that event.
North American Cup Fencing When the dead period for recruiting occurs during the North
Championship American Cup Fencing Championship, it shall be permissible
(Bylaw 13.17.11.1.2) for authorized coaching staff members to observe prospective
student-athletes participating in that event.
