Racers Showcase Prospect Camp Hitting Evaluation – Oct. 23, 2011

Player 60yd Offensive POP GPA

Brandon Aguinaga 8.13 20/20 3.0

   - Brandon is a 2012 graduate from New Haven HS, New Haven, MI. He is a RH hitter that hits
from an open stand-up approach. He needs to develop his hand speed through the hitting zone
and concentrate on becoming a better backside hitter.

Bryce Arledge 8.0 25/25 3.5

   - Bryce is a 2013 graduate from Unioto HS, Chillicothe, OH. He swings from the left side with a lot
of upside. Bryce has a solid approach at the plate with good hand speed. With continued
growth through his senior year, Bryce has the ability to hit at the college level.

Derek Benner 7.84 20/20 3.8

   - Derek is a 2012 graduate from Woodmore HS, Woodmore, OH. He hits from the right side.
Derek needs to improve hands speed and work on loading his hands earlier. With an earlier
load, along with earlier pitch identification, Derek could see a vast improvement in his achieved
         results.

Blake Brauning 8.03 20+/20+ 3.4

   - Blake is a 2013 graduate with upside. He swings from the left side with an open stance. He
needs to work on loading a little earlier and getting his front foot down before pitch delivery.
With some technical work, Blake could see tremendous improvement offensively.

Jeremy Brinegar 7.89 30/25 4.0

   - Jeremy is a 2013 graduate from Stebbins HS, Dayton, OH. He hits from the right side from an
open stance and seems to have a solid approach at the plate. Jeremy shows solid technique and
should continue to improve through his senior year. With continued improvement, Jeremy has
a definite chance to play college baseball.

Timothy Brown III 7.87 20/20 3.0

   - Timothy is a 2014 graduate from Maple Heights HS, Maple Heights, OH. A young man with good
size, Timothy just needs to work on plate technique and approach. Timothy stands up through
his swing and needs to stay in a more athletic stance through his swing. With a lot of time to
grow, Timothy still has the opportunity to improve his game.

Braden Burdine 7.16 25+/25+ 1.97 3.6

   - Braden is a 2012 graduate from Fairfield High School, Fairfield, OH. He swings from the right
side with a solid technique and approach. With added strength through his senior year, Braden
has a chance to play at the next level.
Racers Showcase Prospect Camp Hitting Evaluation – Oct. 23, 2011

Austin Clem 8.06 25/25 3.68

    - Austin is a 2013 graduate from Lewis Cass HS, Walton, IN. Austin hits from the right side and
has good finish in his swing. I would like to see Austin improve his approach by being in a more
athletic stance at the plate. He finishes in a solid stance, but has a tendency to start his
approach by standing upright. He has a tendency to get his front foot down late, so he needs to
get to his load position earlier. Overall, Austin is a good looking young player and with a few
minor technical adjustments, could be a solid college player.

Ryan Cox 7.02 25/20+

    - Ryan is a 2014 graduate from Moeller HS, Cincinnati, OH. Ryan swings from the right side with a
solid approach and good technique. Ryan is a good looking young player that needs to develop
strength and hand speed. He has a very bright future as a baseball player and should become a
good college prospect with some added work.

Johnny Crawford 7.15 25/25 3.33

    - Johnny is a 2013 graduate from Wapakoneta HS, Wapakoneta, OH. Johnny swings from the left
side with a lot of pure athletic ability. He hits from an open stance with solid technique, but
tends to open his front side a little early. Johnny has a lot of upside and I am excited to see
what type of player he turns in to by his senior year. He is a definite college prospect to follow.

Alex Dillon 7.47 20+/25 3.8

    - Alex is a 2012 graduate from Avon Lake HS, Avon, OH. Alex definitely passes the look test as an
offensive college prospect. To have success at the college level he will have to re-evaluate his
approach as a hitter. Alex hits from a long stance, holding his bat high. This will promote a long
swing that will hinder his success as a college hitter. Alex is a very athletic young man that
shows a high ceiling. With improvement in his technique he has a solid chance to be a good
        college player.

Tanner Dovsek 7.25 25/25 3.5

    - Tanner is a 2012 graduate from Chardon HS, Chardon, OH. He hits from the right side of the
plate with an open stance. We have seen Tanner at our previous camps and he has shown
much improvement as he gets closer to graduation. Tanner has a solid approach at the plate,
although he needs to work on getting his front foot down before delivery and insure he keeps
that front side closed until follow through. He is a great young man and definitely has a chance
to play at the next level.
Racers Showcase Prospect Camp Hitting Evaluation – Oct. 23, 2011

Joe Drago 7.30 20+/20+ 2.4

    - Joe is a 2012 graduate from Delta HS, Albany, IN. He hits from the left side with an open stance.
Joe has a good approach but needs to work on hitting from more of an athletic stance, rather
than being a stand-up hitter. It would help if Joe tried not to finish so much on his front foot
and only had partial weight shift through his swing.

Sam Elseser 7.31 20+/25 3.2

    - Sam is a 2012 graduate from East Canton HS, Canton, OH. He is a right handed hitter with a
closed stance. Sam is more of a stand-up hitter and will improve his offensive game by hitting
from more of an athletic stance. He tends to swing with his upper half and needs to let his
backside get through on his swing. Although Sam needs to fix some technique issues, he has
some upside and could be a good hitter at the next level.

Billy Foster 7.80 20+/25 3.2

    - Billy is a 2012 graduate from Xenia HS, Xenia, OH. He hits from the left side with a closed
stance. Billy showed at camp to be a dead pull hitter and tends to blow his front side open
early. He shows some pop of the bat and has a chance to be a good hitter with some technique
        improvement.

Ryan Fuller 7.85 25/25 2.03 2.4

    - Ryan is a 2012 graduate from Glen Este HS, Cincinnati, OH. Ryan is a good looking young hitter
with sound technique and a solid approach at the plate. He hits from an open stance and shows
good bat speed through the hitting zone. Ryan has a chance to be a good college player.

Kyle Hartwick 8.47 25/25 2.07 3.8

    - Kyle is a 2012 graduate from Oxford HS, Oxford, MI. He has good size and hits from the right
side. Kyle demonstrates a solid approach and good technique offensively. He has good bat
speed and finishes well through the hitting zone. Kyle should have opportunities to play at the
        college level.

Andrew Hines 7.79 20+/20+ 3.4

    - Andrew is from Wapakoneta HS, Wapakoneta, OH. He swings from the right side of the plate
with solid technique overall. Andrew does an outstanding job staying inside the baseball and
pulls the knob past the hitting zone effectively. The only thing I spotted from camp was that
Andrew tends to step “in the bucket” on his approach to the hitting zone. If he cleans up his
front side, he has the chance to be a complete hitter.
Racers Showcase Prospect Camp Hitting Evaluation – Oct. 23, 2011

Jeremy Hochscheid 7.82 20+/20+ 3.1

    - Jeremy is a 2012 graduate from William Henry HS, Harrison, OH. He is a right handed hitter that
hits from a slightly open stance. He has a clean approach at the plate and hits with solid
technique. Jeremy needs to add some strength to his game to be an effective college hitter, but
with some work he has a chance.

Connor Jeffries 7.94 20+/20+ 3.2

    - Connor is a 2013 graduate from Pickerington North HS, Pickerington, OH. He hits from an open
stance with a stand-up approach. Although Connor does finish in an athletic hitting position, I
feel he would help himself by starting in a more athletic stance. Connor has a tendency to step
toward third during his swing which goes hand in hand with him opening his front side early.
Both of these technique issues can be easily fixed and he should be a much more solid hitter.

Kyle Johnston 7.02 20+/20+ 2.9

    - Kyle is and 2013 graduate from Orrville HS, Orrville, OH. Kyle swings from the right side with a
slightly open stance. Kyle needs to work on early pitch identification, allowing him to get his
hands through the zone quicker and get a better finish on his swing. Although he has a sound
approach, Kyle does need to make sure he keeps his front side closed until his bat is driving
through the baseball. Being a young player, Kyle still has time to work on his technique and give
himself a chance to play at the next level. He has plus defensive skills, with some work his
offensive skills could be just as good.

Cole Keeley 7.60 20+/25

    - Cole is a 2012 graduate that hits from the right side of the plate. He hits from a slightly open
stance and has very good size. Although Cole is a very strong young man, he could help his
offensive game by having a shorter swing. A long swing is not advantageous to being a good
college hitter without having incredibly fast hands. Cole has the size to be a good college player
and with some improvement to his technique he has a chance.

Tyler Klepach 7.85 20+/20+ 3.0

    - Tyler is a 2013 graduate from Centerville HS, Centerville, OH. He hits from the right side with a
slightly closed stance. Tyler needs to work on his offensive footwork more than anything else.
He tends to step toward third when he swings, pulling his front side off the baseball. Being only
a junior, Tyler has time to fix the minor technique issues and put himself in a good position to
        play at the next level.
Racers Showcase Prospect Camp Hitting Evaluation – Oct. 23, 2011

Steven Knight 7.81 20+/20+ 3.2

   - Steven is a 2014 graduate from Marian HS, South Bend, IN. He has a solid approach at the plate,
but I would love to see him develop a load in his technique. He currently hits from a stand-up
position and I feel that if he would develop a more athletic stance, allowing him to be closer to
the strike zone he would be a much more effective hitter. Being only a sophomore, Steven has
the chance to show great improvement and give himself an opportunity to play college baseball.

Joe Krucke 7.62 20/20 3.1

   - Joe is a 2013 graduate that hits from the right side. He needs to work on early pitch
identification, allowing himself to load early and get his hands through the hitting zone. Joe also
needs to develop hand speed that will allow him to increase his swing velocity, also allowing him
to get to and through the ball quicker.

Cody Lang 7.15 25/20+ 3.5

   - Cody is a 2012 graduate from Bowling Green HS, Bowling Green, OH. He swings from the left
side with a solid approach and good technique. Like many young players, Cody showed the
tendency to rollover early on low strikes. He needs to make sure he stays behind the bat all the
way through the hitting zone, even on the low pitches. Cody has the skills that will allow him to
have a chance at the college level.

Sean Lawless 8.18 20+/20+ 4.28/5.0

   - Sean is a 2013 graduate from Ironton HS, Ironton, OH. He hits from the right side with a slightly
closed stance. He has a tendency to lock his front side, disallowing his back side to get through
when finishing his swing. This would be the major focus on improving his swing that will allow
him an opportunity to play at the next level.

Jacob McElroy 7.03 20/20 3.0

   - Jacob is a 2012 graduate from Fort Jennings HS, Delphos, OH. He swings from the right side with
a solid approach. Jacob needs to work on his hand speed and getting his front foot down before
delivery. He needs to clean up a few technical issues, but shows athletic ability.

Nick Mazzone 6.93 25/25 3.1

   - Nick is a 2013 graduate from Clarkston High School, Clarkston, MI. Nick swings from the right
side with good technique and solid approach. He is very athletic and it translates well to his
offensive ability. Nick definitely shows the offensive ability to play at the collegiate level and will
be a player to watch throughout his junior and senior years.
Racers Showcase Prospect Camp Hitting Evaluation – Oct. 23, 2011

Steven Moore 7.10 25/25 2.06 3.0

   - Steven is a 2012 graduate from Hamilton HS, Hamilton, OH. He swings from the right side with
good technique and a solid approach. Steven gets his hands through the baseball well and does
a nice job finishing his technique. He show solid defensive skills and shows the ability to play at
       the college level.

Cody Morris 7.68 25/25 2.06 3.6

   - Cody is a 2012 graduate of Wayne HS, Huber Heights, OH. He hits from the left side with a solid
approach and very good technique. Finishes nicely, keeping his hands inside the baseball. Cody
displays confidence behind the plate and shows sound skills as a defender. He has good athletic
ability and should be able to play at the college level.

Matthew Musuras 8.07 20/20 2.07 2.9

   - Matthew is a 2012 graduate of Aurora Central Catholic HS, Sugar Grove, IL. He hits from the
right side of the plate with good technique and approach. Matthew needs to improve hand
speed through the hitting zone and make sure he gets his front foot down before delivery. A
nice looking player, he just needs to work on a few small technical issues.

Brendan Nenadal 8.34 20/20 3.2

   - Brendan is a 2012 graduate from Padua Franciscan HS, Cleveland, OH. He hits from the left side
with a solid approach. He has a few technical issues that he needs to clean up to allow himself
the opportunity to play at the next level. Brendan needs to alleviate stepping “into the bucket”
during his swing. He has a tendency of opening his front side early which goes hand in hand
       with him stepping toward third.

Blake Ordiway 7.18 20/20 3.8

   - Blake is a 2012 graduate from Holly HS, Holly, MI. He hits from the right side of the plate with a
good approach and solid technique. Blake needs to improve his hand speed, allowing himself to
get to the hitting zone faster. A good looking young athlete, he just needs to clean up a few
mechanical issues and he will show much better.

Jonathan Petty 7.27 20/20 2.12 2.5

   - Jonathan is a 2012 graduate from Scottsburg HS, Scottsburg, IN. He swings from the right side
of the plate with a good approach and decent technique. Jonathan needs to quicken his load,
allowing him to get into a hitting “ready” position before delivery. He also needs to focus on
Racers Showcase Prospect Camp Hitting Evaluation – Oct. 23, 2011

keeping his front lined up with his back foot and alleviate the tendency to step to third. With
improvement in a few mechanical areas, Jonathan can be a much better hitter.

Brandon Ross 8.74 25/25 3.3

    - Brandan is a 2013 graduate from Indian Lake HS, Lakeview, OH. He swings from the left side of
the plate with a good approach and solid technique. Brandon shows a good bat path through
the hitting zone and finishes his swing well. He does need to focus on getting his front foot
down before delivery. This will allow Brandon to effectively put it all together offensively and
let the ball get deeper before having to commit his swing. Being a young player, if Brandon
continues to improve his game, he should be able to compete at the college level.

Scott Sebald 7.53 20/20 3.3

    - Scott is a 2012 graduate from Colerain HS, Cincinnati, OH. He swings from the left side of the
plate with a solid approach and decent technique. I would like to see Scott develop a load to
improve his ability to get to the hitting zone quicker. Needing to improve his hand speed, a load
will help offset his lack of hand speed until he can get stronger and faster.

Danny Sikkenga 7.28 20/20

    - Danny is a 2014 graduate from Centerville, HS, Centerville, OH. He swings from the right side
from an even stance. Danny has a few technical issues that he needs to address before being
able to compete at the college level. He needs to focus on not pulling his front side toward third
base during his swing or stepping “in the bucket.” Danny also needs to work on not rolling over
on pitches during his swing. His rollover should happen during the finishing-up stage of his
swing and not while getting through the hitting zone.

Zachary Smith 7.35 20+/20+ 3.0

    - Zachary is a 2012 graduate of North Olmsted HS, North Olmsted, OH. He hits from both sides of
the plate with a good approach and solid technique. From the right side, Zachary hits from an
open stance and has a nice bat path through the baseball. I would like to see his knuckles more
in line that will promote a nice finish, rolling up his hands at the end of his swing.

Derek Starks 7.22 25/25 2.94

    - Derek is a 2012 graduate from Shepherd High School, Shepherd, MI. He hits from the right side
of the plate from an open stance. He has a decent approach and solid technique. Derek shows
good athletic ability and stays inside the baseball nicely through the hitting zone.

Liki Turner 7.04 20/20 3.0

    - Liki is a 2012 graduate from Warren G. Harding HS, Warren, OH. He hits from the left side with a
decent approach and technique. Liki does need to improve his hand speed, allowing him to let
the baseball travel deeper to the plate and still promote offensive success. He has a tendency to
Racers Showcase Prospect Camp Hitting Evaluation – Oct. 23, 2011

open his front side early which promotes pulling off the baseball. These few items need to be
cleaned up allowing Liki to compete at the next level.

Logan Webb 7.44 25/25 2.4

   - Logan is a 2013 graduate from Whitehall Yearling HS, Columbus, OH. He hits from the right side
of the plate from a slightly open stance. The only thing I think Logan needs to focus on is getting
his backside through his swing. It will allow him to finish properly and achieve greater success.
Logan is a nice looking young player that should be followed by college coaches.

Joeseph Wild 8.54 20+/20+ 4.0

   - Joeseph is a 2014 graduate from Rockford Lutheran Junior Senior HS, Rockford, IL. He hits from
the right side from a stand-up hitter approach. I would like to see Joeseph hit from a more
athletic position that moves him closer to the strikezone. He is a good looking young player with
time to grow and hone his skills. I am interested to see how Joeseph develops.

Chris Williams 7.97 25/25+ 3.2

   - Chris is a 2012 graduate from Shepherd HS, Alma, MI. He swings from the right side with a
decent approach and technique. Chris has quick hands and has some power through his swing.
I would like to see Chris lower his hands some and allow himself to see the ball deeper so he
doesn’t have to commit early. His high hand position causes his swing to be a little long. His
quickness allows him to have success now, but will need to make adjustments to compete at the
       college level.

Josh Wyatt 7.37 20+/20+ 2.5

   - Josh is a 2013 graduate from Springboro HS, Springboro, OH. He swings from the right side of
the plate with a good approach and decent technique. Josh tends to open his front side a little
early promoting “pulling off the ball.” I would like to see him work on pulling the knob to the
strike zone, which will keep him from casting his hands at the baseball. Josh can be a nice hitter
       with a few small adjustments.

Jordan Zwart 6.64 25/25 3.5

   - Jordan is a 2012 graduate of Glen Oak CC, Kalamazoo, MI. Jordan swings from the right side of
the plate with quick hands. He shows good strength at the plate and is very good defensively.
Jordan should have opportunities to play at a four year school.

Nathan Burton 8.16 25/25

   - Nathan has a solid approach at the plate and displays good offensive technique. He
demonstrates good hand speed through the hitting zone and has upside. I think Nathan can

develop into a college hitter with some work in both the weight room and following a speed and
        agility regiment.

Tyler Burdine 7.25 20/20

    - Tyler is a young man with a lot of potential. Most of the issues that Tyler has offensively can be
easily fixed with some extra technical work. He needs to work on an earlier load and getting his
front foot down sooner. He needs to work on developing better hand speed to and through the
        hitting zone.

Blake Hoffman 7.15 20+/20+

    - Blake hits from an even stance with a good approach at the plate. He does not use a load nor
does he move his front foot before or during his swing. Although you can have success with this
approach and technique, I find that most players have more success with a load, enabling them
to activate or fire their required muscles used in their swing. The movement of the front foot is
utilized in the same fashion, it’s not required, but most players have more success when having
it as part of their approach.

Logan Heffernan 7.31 25/25

    - Logan is a bright young prospect that hits from a slightly closed stance. He has a good approach
and solid technique. The one thing that Logan needs to work on is making sure his backside gets
through his swing. Although his stance is only slightly closed, this can result in locking the front
        and or backside.

Josh Haeseker 7.13 25/25+

    - Josh is a slender but strong young man with a lot of upside. Since I have seen Josh throughout
the last year at several camps and clinics, I have seen great improvement in his approach and
technique. Although Josh is a “late bloomer” from a skills standpoint, I feel that he could be a
very good college baseball player in a few years.

David Calderon 7.18 20/20

    - David is a young man that shows good athletic ability. He needs to work on a few technical
issues to improve his success at the plate. David hits from a closed stance and is late getting his
front foot down. Both of these issues create other problems throughout the swing process, but
        both can be easily overcome.
