“Take the Breath to Spread the Word”

In This Issue FROM THE PASTOR’S DESK

From the Pastor’s Desk Dear PLPC friends,

Martin Luther King, Jr. wrote, “To be a Christian without

prayer is no more possible than to be alive without breathing.” A

2 recent study showed that the number one reason Christians list

“God Happens – Praise & Worship for not having a more regular prayer life is exhaustion. Prayer

Fellowship” has become just one more thing that we do not have the energy or

2 time to do.

Women Are Love Keepers If there is one thing Americans know how to do better

(WALK) than anyone in the world, it is wearing ourselves out. We are

3 over committed, over stimulated, under rested and over worked.

Bible Study We even take pride in being worn out. Many of us often will

Election Day adds to our business and exhaustion. It is an essential activity for

3 living. It is like breathing, eating, and sleeping. What can’t truly

4 So why fight it any more? LET’S PRAY!!

Salt Shakers In all honesty, I find it hard to remember to pray. I pray

Come join us on Sundays at 8 am. Bring your needs and

Perhaps it will ignite a fresh spiritual fire within you and a

growing hunger for our Lord.
