Evidently, I am a snob. Professional quilt instructor and fabric designer Nancy Odom accused

me of being both a thread and fabric snob when she first visited my shop seven years ago. She was

delighted my inventory. It is no secret that I am a Pfaff snob, but hey, even the Reader‟s Digest

Consumer Guide agrees with me that Pfaff is the best machine in the industry. Most recently, Theresa

shared her opinion that I am an embroidery snob just because I wish everyone could have an

embroidery machine! The definition of snob is . . ., well I guess it all depends on who is doing the

name calling. I am proudly declaring that I am a Miss Rosie Snob. That‟s right, I love her patterns

and books, I love her attitude encouraging us to share her patterns among „best quilting buddies.‟ And

I invite you to become a Miss Rosie snob with me. Join the Stitches „N Tyme‟s Miss Rosie‟s Snob

club. Membership entitles you to a 30% discount on all Miss Rosie‟s patterns and books for one year.

She is famous for her trademark “Snibbles” patterns designed for charm packs, but her latest book

“Spice of Life” includes several of our favorite single patterns we already have as shop samples

including Ashley‟s stunning “Double Duty.” My next shop kit uses Brannock & Pateks latest line

“Remembrance” and her pattern, “Ginger Belle” available in both a single pattern and in her newest

book. I have plumped up my inventory in anticipation but please visit her website:

missrosiesquiltco.com and I will be happy to special order patterns I do not stock. The club will feature

„sew-togethers,‟ challenges, fabric and block exchanges, secret pals and contests with discount

incentives and prize money. Tempted? Be prepared that your membership may be similar to

belonging to a gang and with all the fun I have planned we will be dubbed snobs for sure. The first

year club anniversary will be celebrated with an invitation only shop party where secret pals will be

revealed and the grand prize winner of the Miss Rosie Challenge will be awarded a $100 Stitches „N

Tyme gift certificate. First meeting is Wednesday, December 1, 2010.

I wish for you a blessed Christmas, and a happy, healthy New Year!
