TREE CUT-AWAY

     PHOTOSYNTHESIS

   A reaction of organic compounds from
    carbon dioxide and water.
   Light is absorbed by chlorophyll, the
    green pigment present in leaves.
   This creates energy for the tree.
   The by-product off this reaction is
    oxygen.
