Students will be encouraged to reflect on their interests - (what do I enjoy learning about/doing/thinking about?), aptitudes – (what am I good at?), and values – (what is important to me?). Students will also start thinking about the world of work and the concept of careers – what kinds of jobs do you already know about? what do the people that you know think about work? what are reasons for people to work? Students will explore the relationship between personal characteristics and identify behaviors, attitudes, and skills that contribute to school success. Lastly, students will have a brief introduction to Wiscareers and will begin to create their e-Portfolio.
