Dear Parents,
The vacations come for enjoyment and relaxation. If recreation is intelligently mixed with work it
becomes more enjoyable. There are many activities which take place in and around home. Meals are
prepared, rooms are cleaned and festivals are celebrated and so on. We have given wide range of
activities to our tiny tots which will keep them busy and happy during holidays.
Subject :Hindi
Make a colourful scrap file. Paste pictures ( अ – अ: त क ) minimum 5 pictures of each swar.
For example: अ – अनार, अमरूद, अख़बार, अजगर, अनानास
Subject :Maths
1. Make an Abacus using wooden or crystal beads ( 1 to 10)
2. Make a project: Comparison of long and short; big and small. Use thermocol or waste material like
an empty oil can, cardboard or clay to show the comparison.
Subject :English
Make flash cards of English alphabets A to Z. Each flash card to be of 7” X 5”. Each card should have 5
pictures related to the alphabet, e.g. A for Apple, Aeroplane, Ant, Arrow and Air Conditioner etc. Kindly
cover the cards with cellophane paper.
Subject :EVS
1. Make cutouts of 5” X 7” of five animals OR vegetables OR fruits. (Anyone of the three). The
cutouts are to be made using mount board / choksi board.
2. Make a chart of A2 size ( 24” x 16”) with at least 5 photographs of your visit to a hill station/
village or any other place of tourist interest outside Delhi. The photographs can include the
scenic beauty and you and your family photograph. Enjoy the visit.
Subject :Art and Craft
The child will select two rhymes out of the following four rhymes:
My Family
Up in the Blue Sky
Doctor Doctor come and see
Traffic Light
At home the child will prepare puppets related to the selected rhymes and then the child would recite
the rhymes through the puppets in the classroom.

Topic: Table Manners
The parents are requested to facilitate the children to follow the following table manners:
Washing hands before and after having meals
Not leaving food in the plate
Not talking while eating
Chewing with closed mouth
Not making sounds of the spoons and utensils
Eating together on the dining table
Not watching TV or attending phone while eating
Not reading books or newspapers while eating
Clearing and cleaning the table after eating
