                          INVITATION FOR SHORTLISTING OF NGOs
                           NATIONAL HIGHWAY CORRIDOR PUBLIC
                                  PARTNERSHIP PROJECT
National Highways Authority of India on be half of Government of india has proposed to
undertake the work of four laning and strenthening of Porbadar –Jetpur section of NH –8B,
Jetpur – Gondal section of NH –8B, Bamanbore –Samakhiyali Section of NH-8A,
Samakhiyali – Radhanpur Section of NH –15 and Radhanpur – Deesa Section of NH-14
falling in the State of Gujarat. The stretch is about 506 kms. Of length and divided into
five sections. The Rehabilitation and Resettlement (R&R) policy has already been
prepared by social experts of reputed consultants engaged for this purpose in consultation
with the Asian Development Bank. It is proposed that NGOs be deployed for
implementing the Resettlement Plan (RP). The services of NGOs registered with the
appropriate authorities of the central/State Governments are required for providing
support in implementation of the Resettlement and Rehabilitation (R&R) activities.
Applications are hereby invited from registered NGOs for their short-listing for this
proposal. The application should be supported by the attested/verified copies with the
following details
1. Name of consultant along with the registration details like year, place of the
registration etc.
2. Organization Structure including the details of the experts and support personnel with
their relevant qualification and experience
3.Details of the work done (volume /Cost, nature etc.) in the areas of R&R works for the
last six years.
4.Experience in handling community, organization and rural development work
5.Experience of handling R&R issue of highway related works and any other projects
having linear pattern settlement like irrigation canals etc along with the methodologies
followed therein.
6.Any other details applicable to implementation of (R&R) in highway related work, If
not covered above.
Short listing will be done on proven merit of the consultants. The Technical and Financial
proposals will be invited from the short listed consultants.
