Action-RPG game “The Roots” for the PC and Xbox.

 Modelling and texturing low poly environments.

 Designing environments as well as working from concept art created by other

artists.

EDUCATION

September 2005: Awarded MSc CAGTA – Computer Aided Graphical Technology

Applications.

2004 – 2005: full-time postgraduate studies at the University of Teesside

 Final project: “Virtual Clay” – designing and implementing a sculpting

program for creating digital characters.

 Producing a 3D animated short film using Softimage|XSI.

 Modelling, rigging and MEL scripting in Maya.

 Attended a 1 year life drawing workshop as part of extra-curricular activities.

 Took part in the Acting for Animators workshop with Ed Hooks during the

Animex festival.

 Games programming – DirectX, OpenGL, AI, real-time rendering.

 Visual effects, simulation and graphical programming – advanced raytracing,

rasterizers, patches, particle systems, procedural modelling and textures.

 Programming in C and C++, graphical mathematics.

 Video editing, special effects and post-production using Discreet Combustion.

September 2003: Awarded BSc in 3D Animation, grade A with distinction.

2000 – 2003: full-time undergraduate studies at the Polish-Japanese Institute of

Information Technology in Warsaw.

 Final project: “Creating a 3D animated short film – techniques and theory”.

This involved creating a three minute 3D animation called “Robotto vs.

Ubertodt”.

 Solid grounding in all areas related to computing with specialization in 3D

computer graphics.

AWARDS

 Animago 2004 animation festival: fourth place in the Student Supershort Film

category for “Robotto vs. Ubertodt”.

 A special congratulatory letter from the Rector for my BSc project “Creating

a 3D animated short film – techniques and theory”.

SKILLS

 Thorough knowledge of all the skills related to 3D graphics – modelling,

texturing, animation, rigging, lighting and rendering.

 Proficient in 3ds max, Maya, Softimage|XSI, Photoshop and Painter. Also

experience using ZBrush and Mudbox.

 Scripting and tools development for Photoshop, Maya, 3ds max and Windows.
