Fisheries and Ecosystems Analyst
The Commission for the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources (CCAMLR)
is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced individual to fill the position of Fisheries
and Ecosystems Analyst. The appointee will analyse data arising from CCAMLR
scientific programs and provide expert analysis and synthesis of CCAMLR data and
related information to support priorities of CCAMLR’s Scientific Committee.
The successful applicant will have appropriate qualifications (recent MSc or PhD in
relevant subject), experience in data analysis and modelling, preferably related to
marine ecosystems and/or fisheries, and expertise in the use of analytical software
including R. The post is initially offered on a three-year contract with a commencing
salary of $71,012, generous superannuation and other benefits.
