Second Grade Veteran’s Day Program
Friday, November 11 at 9:00 a.m.

Your child will be celebrating Veteran’s Day on Friday, November 11, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. He or
she will be speaking and singing of Historical periods and events. We hope you will join us for
this Patriotic celebration. If you know of anyone who has served or is serving please invite
them to come.
If your child is in Mrs. Portugal or Mrs. Payne’s class, they need to wear a red shirt, jeans, and
tennis shoes.
If your child is in Miss McKee or Mrs. Brockwell’s class, they need to wear a white shirt, jeans,
and tennis shoes.
If your child is in Mrs. Swanzy or Mrs. Pedrami’s class, they need to wear a blue shirt, jeans, and
tennis shoes.
If your child has an Armed Forces hat, cap, shirt, or outfit they may wear it along with, or
instead of the outfit above.
We are in need of parents to decorate the stage as a large flag on the evening of Thursday,
November 10 after the Third Grade Program around 7:15 p.m. The Second grade program will
be on Friday, November 11 at 9:00 a.m. Please e-mail me if you can come and help decorate.

Also, we are in need of small fabric flags on small doll rods. If you would like to donate some, I
would be appreciative.
Your child will need to wear their outfit or colored shirt and jeans to school on Friday,
November 11.
