Stop Drinking Now - Reasons to Remember Why You Should Quit
Drinking:-
Take a Look at - Stop Drinking
The reasons to quit drinking are all compellingly valid. They are all based on real necessities and
important factors, so important in fact that the habit could actually, and have, bring the downfall of a
person. The need to stop drinking is not only very real but also quite urgent. But why do so many
people fail? If stopping drinking is such a consequential necessity why have there been so many failed
attempts. If you really need to stop drinking now, how come it's so hard to realize.
Many efforts to stop drinking have been thwarted by the fact that there's always tomorrow. It is so easy
to convince yourself that you can start to stop drinking tomorrow, or next week and that you will.
Before long, you find yourself in a cycle with only a few months, or even less, of sobriety in between.
Have a Look at - Stopping Drinking
"It's ok to drink now, tomorrow I promise I won't drink anymore." But the problem is, from where
we're all standing, we can just as well have an infinite number of tomorrows. We convince ourselves
that "this one will be the last one." We put it off, and put it off, and we end up never doing it at all. To
effectively quit drinking, you need to recognize that you have to do it now. For many people,
unfortunately, the "last one" turns out to be the straw that broke the camel's back, the tipping point, and
everything comes tumbling down. In order to succeed, you need to think of "now" as your last chance.
See To - How to Stop Drinking
If you are ever going to stop drinking, you have to stop drinking now. Not tomorrow, not today, not
after that party, not after that last drink. Condition your mind that this is the last chance you have at
changing and believe it. It is so easy to fall back into the bad habit if you think you can start all over
again tomorrow. Although you are not precluded from actually starting tomorrow, the complacence is
what kills your drive. Knowing that you get as many chances as you want to start over subconsciously
convinces you that it's ok to drink today. This is a very slippery slope. If today you promise to start
tomorrow and you believe this to be a valid course of action, the same will still be as valid tomorrow
and you end up procrastinating to infinity. The determination to stop drinking is not only from actually
quitting but in doing it now even if you know you can do it tomorrow.
