					Title:           Information Technology (IT) Specialist
Status:          Exempt
Hours:           40hrs/wk
Reports to:      Support Services Director


Overview
Works with the Clinic administrative team and IT team to support and maintain the Electronic Health Records
(EHR) software, including all third-party add-ons to the EHR system. Assists with Clinic operations data
extraction/reporting and quality assurance (QA). Various other IT software/hardware support duties.

Responsibilities
   Provides support for the EHR software and a number of add-ons/enhancements to it. This includes
    configuration, troubleshooting, creating & maintaining user accounts, software maintenance, and certain
    types of upgrades.
   Maintains a log of problems and fixes.
   Trains and assists staff in using EHR add-ons.
   Assists with Clinic day-to-day quality assurance and routine operations reporting.
   Provides Clinic hardware support, including printers, desktops and laptops.
   Assists with installation and maintenance of systems at various satellite locations, especially mobile
    outreach and sites in Clackamas County.
   Participates in discussions, events, workshops, and trainings offered by Outside In to foster cultural
    awareness.
   Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications
        Familiarity with common computer applications (such as MS Office) and operating systems.
        Ability to learn new software.
        Ability to work well with diverse staff.
        Good communication and customer service skills. Able to work well with non-technical staff.
        Good hardware skills, including the ability to rebuild workstations.
        Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, including Microsoft Windows & Office, printers &
         networking.
        Ability and willingness to follow directions.
        Detail-oriented.
        Committed to seeing assigned tasks through to completion.
        Ability to work independently and stay on track.
        Familiarity with SQL server, SQL queries, and ODBC connections.
        Experience building Crystal Reports a plus.
        Able to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
        Minimum 2 years of relevant IT experience; additional experience a plus.
        Supports agency mission and goals.
