Pakistan aviation industry introducing a new airline High Sky Flights (HSF).It was not

early nineties there was a major growth in the Pakistani aviation market with four new

private airlines launching operations. All the airlines did very well. An airline provides air

transport services for traveling passengers and freight. Airlines lease or own their

The airline industry is a service that satisfies customer needs for travelling. In the airline

industry the customers can be divided into two segments, business and leisure. While

the airline industry started out as a luxury item, business travel has changed this

industry to a necessity. As we further become a global economy and communication

between international companies intensifies, travel needs continue to increase. The

leisure traveler has always had the need for the airline industry. Satisfying the customer

needs today involves competitive rates, convenient booking of flights and benefits with

those flights.

bus or rail. Air travel insurance is relatively expensive for this reason. There is a

significant difference between the safety of airliners and that of smaller private aircraft.

COMPETITORS:

Following are some competitors:

 Air blue

 Pakistan International Airlines

 Shaheen Air International

 PRICE:

The HSF airlines may set prices above the market price either to reflect the image of

quality or the unique status of the product. The intention here is to charge the average

price for the service .This enables the airline to achieve good levels of profit on the

basis of established reputation.HSF Airlines gives you a three following classes: The

First Class, The Executive or Business Class and The Economy Class. Fares for each

class are different since the facilities provided and the comfort and luxury level is

different in each class. Seasonal fares are also fixed, fares rise during the peak holiday

times to meet the competition of private airlines.

Pricing Strategy for HSF:

HSF will follow penetration pricing strategy. This strategy the price charged for products

and services is set artificially low in order to gain market share. Once this is achieved,

the price is increased. This approach was used by France Telecom and Sky TV.
