The Oaktree Foundation is a growing organisation that relies on sponsorship to achieve its goals and vision. Current sponsors include MTV, MySpace, Nova, Nab, Jay Jays, AFL, STA Travel, Monash University and more. As part of the National Sponsorship team you will mainly be responsible for writing national sponsorship documents and effectively communicating Oaktree’s value proposition. This is essential in ensuring that Oaktree has the necessary resources required to sustain the organization and its projects. The Sponsorship Proposal Editor – National Sponsorship will have as their key responsibilities: • Writing and editing all national sponsorship proposals for the OAktree foundation nationally • Developing baselines sponsorship proposals for use across the organization nationally Identifying the value proposition of Oaktree for sponsors and communicating it effectively and succinctly in sponsorship proposals Timeliness and quality of written sponsorship proposals Level of initiative shown in the development of baseline sponsorship documents Level of performance against the responsibilities outlined above Feedback from the National Head of Sponsorship Experience in producing written communications at a professional standard Ability to identify and understand different value propositions Ability to work independently and be resourceful Ability to consolidate vast amounts of information High level of computer and internet literacy Excellent level of personal organisation Friendly, open and confident with good interpersonal communication skills Experience with, or knowledge of, sponsorship procedures and processes preferred • Key Performance Indicators • • • • Attributes and Skills Required • • • • • • • • What you get out of it Time Commitment Reports to Professional experience in sponsorship management at a level which is uncommon for young people • 10-15 hours per week • We are looking for individuals who can make a 1-year commitment to the position.
