SAP CONSULTING SERVICES TO IMPLEMENT
NON–UNION BENEFIT CHANGES

The City of Mississauga (“the City”), intends to select a qualified Vendor to lead and implement a non-union
benefits program change including payroll deductions and any related ABAP customizations in the City’s SAP
ECC 6 instances as set out in this Request for Proposal (RFP).
The objective of this RFP is to select a qualified vendor to provide on-site (at the offices of the City of
Mississauga) professional services in two distinct phases between September 1, 2009 and January 15, 2010.
Phase 1 involves blueprinting of the proposed changes and modelling in an SAP Sandbox environment. Phase 2
will involve setup in an SAP Development environment and migration and testing in an SAP Quality Assurance
environment. Phase 2 also includes preparation and review of master data changes to support the benefits
program changes prior to Go Live of the PeopleSoft migration to SAP. The changes will be migrated and data
setup in PRD at cutover and Post Go Live support will be for 2 pay runs after Go Live.
Proposal forms will be available at the address listed below on or about Tuesday July 14, 2009. The cost for
these documents is $100.00 non-refundable, including tax.
To receive consideration, consultants must be qualified. Complete qualification requirements are outlined in the
RFP. Only those offers which have been received from consultants deemed qualified by the City will be
evaluated.
A Supplier Information Session will be held on Monday, July 20th, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. local time in the Public
Affairs’ Auditorium in the Civic Centre at 300 City Centre Dr, west side of the main floor, just left of the Great
Stair. Attendance is mandatory.
Responses must be time-stamped at the location below to be considered. LATE BIDS will be rejected without
exception.
Vendors are invited to attend a public opening commencing at approximately 2:30 p.m., LOCAL TIME, on the
day of closing, at the Mississauga Civic Centre, 300 City Centre Drive.
Proposals received from qualified consultants will be assessed based on quality and price and the availability of
funds by the Municipality to complete the work. The City reserves the right to accept or reject all or any bids
and to waive irregularities in accordance with established policy.
