Certificate installation in Mozilla Firefox (FF)
High security
In order to increase the security level we recommend using in FF the so called Master Password to
protect sensitive data and information, including certificates and the associated secret keys. If you
create Master Password you will be asked to enter it once per session when FF retrieves the saved
information protected by this password – e.g. when logging in IB (additional security element)!
In FF browser click in the menu on Tools and then on Options....
In the box Options choose the item Security and check the box Use a master password.

In the window Change Master Password enter the password you have chosen. Please make sure
you remember the Master Password. If you forget it, you will be unable to access any saved
information protected by this password.
Confirm entering of the Master Password by clicking on OK.

In the window Options choose Advanced, Encryption and click on View Certificates.
The window Certificate Manager, Your Certificates contains the list of all user certificates installed. In
order to install your certificate click on Import.

In the next window select the downloaded certificate and click on Open.
Enter Master Password and click on OK.
In the field Password, enter the password that you used to download the certificate and click on OK.

Confirm a successful import by clicking on OK.
The window Certificate Manager, Your Certificates will display your personal certificate. Close the
window by clicking on OK.
Now your personal certificate has been successfully installed.
