GRADING BOND RELEASE CHECK-OFF LIST
Provide a letter of request for the Grading Bond Release. The letter should have
complete information of the project: project name, address, tract number, etc.
Submit the letter with a copy of the Rancho Cucamonga Agreement to Install
Improvements, which was issued prior to the issuance of the grading permit
Submit an “As-Built” Grading Plan and Certifications from the project’s Civic Engineer
Person requesting bond release:
BOND #.____________________________ (BOND WILL NOT BE RELEASED WITHOUT A BOND NUMBER)
1. Letter of request for grading releases to include PMT#, Tract # or address
Bond release Line of credit Reimbursement of Cash deposit
2. GRADING INSPECTOR: Review and check the appropriate boxes.
As-Built Grading Plan
Certifications form the project’s civil engineer
Inspect job site to insure compaction completion
Concrete swales Attach bond to paperwork
3. BUILDING INSPECTOR: Review and check the appropriate boxes.
All permits are final Others
4. ASSOCIATE ENGINEER
Review all sign-offs and forward the form letter to Office Specialist II for typing
Discard notes and other miscellaneous back up information
5. OFFICE SPECIALIST II
Prepare the release grading letter
Obtain signature from the Associate Engineer or the Building and Safety Official
for the letter of Release and mail the letter of to the applicant
Retain a copy of the Grading Agreement and the request letter for 90-days before
Scan the grading bond release letter into Tidemark
