   St. Patrick’s Day Parade
             ESSAY CONTEST
                  2010 Theme Is
    “Irish Sayings, Blessings, Wit and Wisdom”

                    Princess Essay Contest
   Open to all area High School Female Seniors. In 500 words or less write
     about "Irish Sayings, Blessings, Wit and Wisdom”. Entries will be
  evaluated on both content and writing style. Judges will look for writing
that is clear, articulate and logically organized. The winner will be the 2010
      St. Patrick’s Day Parade’s “Irish Princess”. Irish Heritage is not a
 requirement. The Princess will participate in the parade and will receive a
$500 award. Entries are to be mailed so that they are received no later than
    Wednesday March 3rd, 2010 to The Chamber of Commerce of the
 Moriches, P.O. Box 686, Center Moriches, NY 11934. Winner will be
selected by Friday March 5th, 2010. Winner agrees to allow their name
         and essay to be used in press releases and parade promotion.
