 Purpose of Job:

 Lead the creation, planning, delivery and evaluation of the marketing and communications strategy and activities for British
 Council Korea’s Teaching Centre operations in line with the country plan.
 Context and Environment:

 The post holder will manage a team of 3 .

Accountabilities, responsibilities and main duties:
                     Develop marketing and communications strategies and plans to achieve English Language Teaching business
 1. Duty             targets.
 (20%)
                     Conduct quarterly reviews of the above with the Teaching Centre Manager.
                     Develop web and social media strategies and campaigns to build the British Council’s online reputation.
 2. Duty
 (25%)               Report on progress of the above on a quarterly basis using metrics prescribed by, or agreed with, the Director,
                     Digital Services East Asia and Director, Marketing East Asia.
                     Lead the execution of country-wide sales, advertising, promotions and PR activities for the British Council’s English
                     products and services.
 3. Duty             Lead the development of British Council marketing collateral that supports the above, including but not limited to
 (25%)               brochures, booklets, banners, websites and e-newsletters, and ensure that they meet agreed corporate, brand and
                     Equal Opportunities and Diversity (EOD) requirements.
                     Oversee delegated marcomms budget for Teaching Centre.
                     Develop and manage internal and external market research for English on existing customers, target audiences,
 4. Duty             market trends and opportunities & competition. Ensure findings feed into strategy and planning.
 (25%)               Track performance of marketing campaigns through measurement and analysis to understand effectiveness and
                     ROI.
                     Lead and develop marketing team members, in line with corporate performance management system.
 5 Duty
 (5%)                Ensure marketing team members receive development opportunities and manage their development in line with
                     their job plans.
