1. What is a word that best describes you?
1. Why do you want to be a Peer-to-Peer Mentor?
2. What makes you uniquely qualified to be a mentor?
3. What is your knowledge and experience of NAMI Metro Balto County?
4. When are you available to teach? Teaching involves a three hours, 15 min block
of time (includes setup and take down). Are mornings or evenings best for you?
5. Teaching involves at least 3 meetings outside of class for 1-2 hours in order to
plan and debrief. Can you commit to 3 meetings before and in between classes?
6. Are you aware that Peer-to-Peer is a scripted course? How do you feel about
following a script and reading out loud?
7. What do you see as your greatest strength with regards to being a mentor? What
do you see as your greatest challenge?
8. Are there any logistical issues that might keep you from arriving on time to a
class or making a commitment to attend each week?
9. Can you make a commitment to teaching 3 ten-week courses for a year?
