Song of Solomon 1 1 The song of songs, which is Solomon’s.

Song of Solomon 1 THE Shulamite[a]

2 Let him kiss me with the kisses of his
Song of Solomon 1 mouth—
For your[b] love is better than wine.
Song of Solomon 1

3 Because of the fragrance of your
Song of Solomon 1 good ointments,

                     Your name is ointment poured forth;
Song of Solomon 1
                     Therefore the virgins love you.
Song of Solomon 1

Song of Solomon 1 4 Draw me away!

Song of Solomon 1 The Daughters of Jerusalem

Song of Solomon 1 We will run after you.

Song of Solomon 1 The Shulamite

The king has brought me into his
Song of Solomon 1
                    chambers.

Song of Solomon 1 The Daughters of Jerusalem
Song of Solomon 1 We will be glad and rejoice in you.

Song of Solomon 1 We will remember your[e] love

Song of Solomon 1 more than wine.

Song of Solomon 1 The Shulamite

Song of Solomon 1 Rightly do they love you.

Song of Solomon 1 5 I am dark,

                    but lovely,
Song of Solomon 1
                       O daughters of Jerusalem,
Song of Solomon 1

                       Like the tents of Kedar,
Song of Solomon 1 Like the curtains of Solomon.

Song of Solomon 1 6 Do not look upon me,

                    because I am dark,
Song of Solomon 1

Because the sun has tanned me.
Song of Solomon 1

My mother’s sons were angry with
Song of Solomon 1   me;
They made me the keeper of the
Song of Solomon 1 vineyards,

Song of Solomon 1 But my own vineyard I have not kept.

Song of Solomon 1 (To Her Beloved)

7 Tell me, O you whom I love,
Song of Solomon 1

                      Where you feed your flock,
Song of Solomon 1

Where you make it rest at noon.
Song of Solomon 1

For why should I be as one who veils
Song of Solomon 1 herself[g]
By the flocks of your companions?

Song of Solomon 1 THE Beloved
Song of Solomon 1 8 If you do not know,

                    O fairest among women,
Song of Solomon 1

Follow in the footsteps of the flock,
Song of Solomon 1

                    And feed your little goats
Song of Solomon 1
                      Beside the shepherds’ tents.
Song of Solomon 1

9 I have compared you, my love,
Song of Solomon 1

To my filly among Pharaoh’s chariots.
Song of Solomon 1

10 Your cheeks are lovely with
Song of Solomon 1 ornaments,

Song of Solomon 1 Your neck with chains of gold.

Song of Solomon 1 THE Daughters of Jerusalem
11 We will make you[h] ornaments of
Song of Solomon 1 gold
                       With studs of silver.

Song of Solomon 1 THE Shulamite

12 While the king is at his table,
Song of Solomon 1

My spikenard sends forth its fragrance.
Song of Solomon 1

Song of Solomon 1 13 A bundle of myrrh

                    is my beloved to me,
Song of Solomon 1
That lies all night between my breasts.
Song of Solomon 1

14 My beloved is to me a cluster of
Song of Solomon 1 henna blooms

Song of Solomon 1 In the vineyards

Song of Solomon 1 of En Gedi.

Song of Solomon 1 THE Beloved

                    15 Behold, you are fair,
Song of Solomon 1
                    my love!
Song of Solomon 1
                      Behold, you are fair!

Song of Solomon 1 You have dove’s eyes.

Song of Solomon 1 THE Shulamite

16 Behold, you are handsome, my
Song of Solomon 1 beloved!

                       Yes, pleasant!
Song of Solomon 1
                         Also our bed is green.
  Song of Solomon 1

17 The beams of our houses are cedar,
  Song of Solomon 1
                         And our rafters of fir.

I am the rose of Sharon,
 Song of Solomon 2
And the lily of the valleys.

Song of Solomon 2 THE Beloved

2 Like a lily among thorns,
Song of Solomon 2

Song of Solomon 2 So is my love among the daughters.
Song of Solomon 2 THE Shulamite

3 Like an apple tree among the trees of
Song of Solomon 2 the woods,

So is my beloved among the sons.
Song of Solomon 2

I sat down in his shade with great
Song of Solomon 2 delight,

Song of Solomon 2 And his fruit was sweet to my taste.

Song of Solomon 2 THE Shulamite to the Daughters of Jerusalem

4 He brought me to the banqueting
Song of Solomon 2 house,
And his banner over me was love.
Song of Solomon 2

5 Sustain me with cakes of raisins,
                       Refresh me with apples,
Song of Solomon 2
                       For I am lovesick.

6 His left hand is under my head,
Song of Solomon 2

And his right hand embraces me.
Song of Solomon 2

                         7 I charge you, O daughters of
                    Jerusalem,
By the gazelles or by the does of the
Song of Solomon 2
                    field,
Do not stir up nor awaken love
                        Until it pleases.
Song of Solomon 2

Song of Solomon 2 THE Shulamite

8 The voice of my beloved!
Song of Solomon 2

                       Behold, he comes
                       Leaping upon the mountains,
Song of Solomon 2
                       Skipping upon the hills.

9 My beloved is like a gazelle or a
Song of Solomon 2 young stag.

                      Behold, he stands behind our wall;
Song of Solomon 2

He is looking through the windows,
Song of Solomon 2 Gazing through the lattice.
10 My beloved spoke, and said to me:
“ Rise up, my love, my fair one,
Song of Solomon 2

                    And come away.
Song of Solomon 2

11 For lo, the winter is past,
Song of Solomon 2

The rain is over and gone.
Song of Solomon 2

                      12 The flowers appear on the earth;
Song of Solomon 2

The time of singing has come,
Song of Solomon 2
And the voice of the turtledove
Song of Solomon 2 Is heard in our land.

13 The fig tree puts forth her green
                    figs,
Song of Solomon 2 And the vines with the tender grapes
                       Give a good smell.

Rise up, my love, my fair one,
Song of Solomon 2 And come away!
Song of Solomon 2 14 “ O my dove,

in the clefts of the rock,
Song of Solomon 2

In the secret places of the cliff,
Song of Solomon 2
                       Let me see your face,
Song of Solomon 2

                       Let me hear your voice;
Song of Solomon 2

                       For your voice is sweet,
Song of Solomon 2
                       And your face is lovely.”
Song of Solomon 2 HER Brothers

                    15 Catch us the foxes,
Song of Solomon 2

The little foxes that spoil the vines,
Song of Solomon 2

Song of Solomon 2 For our vines have tender grapes.

Song of Solomon 2 THE Shulamite
Song of Solomon 2 16 My beloved is mine,

                    and I am his.
Song of Solomon 2

Song of Solomon 2 He feeds his flock

Song of Solomon 2 among the lilies.

                    17 Until the day breaks
Song of Solomon 2 And the shadows flee away,

                     Turn, my beloved,
Song of Solomon 2
                        And be like a gazelle
Song of Solomon 2 Or a young stag
                        Upon the mountains of Bether.[a]

Song of Solomon 3 THE Shulamite

By night on my bed I sought the one I
 Song of Solomon 3   love;

I sought him, but I did not find him.
 Song of Solomon 3

                       2 “ I will rise now,” I said,
 Song of Solomon 3

                        “ And go about the city;
Song of Solomon 3 In the streets and in the squares
I will seek the one I love.”

I sought him, but I did not find him.
 Song of Solomon 3
Song of Solomon 3 3 The watchmen

Song of Solomon 3 who go about the city

                    found me;
Song of Solomon 3

                       I said,
Song of Solomon 3 “ Have you seen the one I love?”
4 Scarcely had I passed by them,
Song of Solomon 3 When I found the one I love.

I held him and would not let him go,
Song of Solomon 3

Song of Solomon 3 Until I had brought him

to the house of my mother,
Song of Solomon 3

And into the chamber of her
Song of Solomon 3
Song of Solomon 3 who conceived me.

                       5 I charge you, O daughters of
                    Jerusalem,
By the gazelles or by the does of the
Song of Solomon 3
                    field,
Do not stir up nor awaken love
                        Until it pleases.

Song of Solomon 3 THE Shulamite

6 Who is this coming out of the
Song of Solomon 3 wilderness

                       Like pillars of smoke,
Song of Solomon 3
                       Perfumed with myrrh and
Song of Solomon 3 frankincense,

                      With all the merchant’s fragrant
Song of Solomon 3 powders?

7 Behold, it is Solomon’s couch,
Song of Solomon 3

With sixty valiant men around it,
Song of Solomon 3 Of the valiant of Israel.

                       8 They all hold swords,
Song of Solomon 3
                      Being expert in war.
Song of Solomon 3 Every man has his sword on his thigh
Because of fear in the night.

9 Of the wood of Lebanon
Song of Solomon 3

                    Solomon the King
Song of Solomon 3
                      Made himself a palanquin:[a]

10 He made its pillars of silver,
                     Its support of gold,
Song of Solomon 3 Its seat of purple,
                     Its interior paved with love
                        By the daughters of Jerusalem.
  Song of Solomon 3

11 Go forth, O daughters of Zion,
  Song of Solomon 3
And see King Solomon with the crown

Song of Solomon 3 With which his mother crowned him

On the day of his wedding,
  Song of Solomon 3
The day of the gladness of his heart.

Song of Solomon 4 THE Beloved

1 Behold, you are fair, my love!
Song of Solomon 4 Behold, you are fair!
You have dove’s eyes behind your veil.
Song of Solomon 4 Your hair is like a flock of goats,

                       Going down from Mount Gilead.
Song of Solomon 4

Song of Solomon 4 2 Your teeth

are like a flock of shorn sheep
Which have come up from the
Song of Solomon 4
                    washing,

Every one of which bears twins,
Song of Solomon 4

And none is barren among them.
Song of Solomon 4
3 Your lips are like a strand of scarlet,
Song of Solomon 4

                    And your mouth is lovely.
Song of Solomon 4

                    Your temples behind your veil
Song of Solomon 4

Are like a piece of pomegranate.
Song of Solomon 4
4 Your neck is like the tower of David,
Song of Solomon 4

                    Built for an armory,
Song of Solomon 4 On which hang a thousand bucklers,
                     All shields of mighty men.

5 Your two breasts are like two fawns,
Song of Solomon 4 Twins of a gazelle,

                    Which feed among the lilies.
Song of Solomon 4

                     6 Until the day breaks
Song of Solomon 4 And the shadows flee away,
I will go my way to the mountain of
                    myrrh
Song of Solomon 4
And to the hill of frankincense.

7 You are all fair, my love,
Song of Solomon 4 And there is no spot in you.

Song of Solomon 4 8 Come with me from Lebanon,

                    my spouse,
Song of Solomon 4

                       With me from Lebanon.
Look from the top of Amana,
Song of Solomon 4
From the top of Senir and Hermon,
                     From the lions’ dens,
Song of Solomon 4 From the mountains of the leopards.

9 You have ravished my heart,
                       My sister, my spouse;
                       You have ravished my heart
Song of Solomon 4
With one look of your eyes,
With one link of your necklace.

10 How fair is your love,
Song of Solomon 4

Song of Solomon 4 My sister, my spouse!

How much better than wine is your
Song of Solomon 4 love,
And the scent of your perfumes
Song of Solomon 4 Than all spices!

11 Your lips, O my spouse,
Song of Solomon 4

                     Drip as the honeycomb;
Song of Solomon 4

                    Honey and milk are under your tongue;
Song of Solomon 4
And the fragrance of your garments
Song of Solomon 4

Is like the fragrance of Lebanon.
Song of Solomon 4

                       12 A garden enclosed
Song of Solomon 4

                    Is my sister, my spouse,
Song of Solomon 4

                      A spring shut up,
Song of Solomon 4 A fountain sealed.
13 Your plants are an orchard of
                    pomegranates
Song of Solomon 4
                       With pleasant fruits,
                       Fragrant henna with spikenard,

                       14 Spikenard and saffron,
                       Calamus and cinnamon,
Song of Solomon 4 With all trees of frankincense,
                       Myrrh and aloes,
                       With all the chief spices—

                       15 A fountain of gardens,
Song of Solomon 4 A well of living waters,
                       And streams from Lebanon.

Song of Solomon 4

Song of Solomon 4 THE Shulamite

                    16 Awake, O north wind,
Song of Solomon 4
                         And come, O south!
  Song of Solomon 4

                         Blow upon my garden,
Song of Solomon 4 That its spices may flow out.

Let my beloved come to his garden
  Song of Solomon 4
                         And eat its pleasant fruits.

Song of Solomon 5 THE Beloved

1 I have come to my garden, my sister, my
  Song of Solomon 5   spouse;
I have gathered my myrrh with my
Song of Solomon 5   spice;

I have eaten my honeycomb with my
Song of Solomon 5   honey;
I have drunk my wine with my milk.

Song of Solomon 5 THE Shulamite

Song of Solomon 5 2 I sleep,

                    but my heart is awake;
Song of Solomon 5

It is the voice of my beloved!
Song of Solomon 5

                       He knocks, saying,
Song of Solomon 5
“ Open for me, my sister, my love,
Song of Solomon 5
                    My dove, my perfect one;

For my head is covered with dew,
Song of Solomon 5

My locks with the drops of the night.”
Song of Solomon 5

                    3 I have taken off my robe;
Song of Solomon 5 How can I put it on again?
                      I have washed my feet;
Song of Solomon 5 How can I defile them?

4 My beloved put his hand
Song of Solomon 5 By the latch of the door,

And my heart yearned for him.
Song of Solomon 5

5 I arose to open for my beloved,
Song of Solomon 5 And my hands dripped with myrrh,

                      My fingers with liquid myrrh,
Song of Solomon 5

On the handles of the lock.
Song of Solomon 5
6 I opened for my beloved,
But my beloved had turned away and
Song of Solomon 5 was gone.

Song of Solomon 5 My heart leaped up when he spoke.

                      I sought him, but I could not find him;
I called him, but he gave me no
Song of Solomon 5
                    answer.

7 The watchmen who went about the
Song of Solomon 5 city found me.

                       They struck me, they wounded me;
Song of Solomon 5

                       The keepers of the walls
Song of Solomon 5 Took my veil away from me.

                        8 I charge you, O daughters of
                    Jerusalem,
Song of Solomon 5
                       If you find my beloved,
That you tell him I am lovesick!

Song of Solomon 5 THE Daughters of Jerusalem
                     9 What is your beloved
Song of Solomon 5 More than another beloved,

                       O fairest among women?
Song of Solomon 5

                      What is your beloved
Song of Solomon 5 More than another beloved,
                       That you so charge us?

Song of Solomon 5 THE Shulamite

Song of Solomon 5 10 My beloved is white

                    and ruddy,
Song of Solomon 5

                       Chief among ten thousand.
Song of Solomon 5

                       11 His head is like the finest gold;
Song of Solomon 5
                      His locks are wavy,
Song of Solomon 5 And black as a raven.

12 His eyes are like doves
Song of Solomon 5

                      By the rivers of waters,
Song of Solomon 5

                      Washed with milk,
Song of Solomon 5

                    And fitly set.
Song of Solomon 5
13 His cheeks are like a bed of spices,
Song of Solomon 5 Banks of scented herbs.

                     His lips are lilies,
Song of Solomon 5

                     Dripping liquid myrrh.
Song of Solomon 5

14 His hands are rods of gold
Song of Solomon 5 Set with beryl.

                     His body is carved ivory
Song of Solomon 5 Inlaid with sapphires.
15 His legs are pillars of marble
Song of Solomon 5 Set on bases of fine gold.

                        His countenance is like Lebanon,
Song of Solomon 5 Excellent as the cedars.

16 His mouth is most sweet,
Song of Solomon 5 Yes, he is altogether lovely.

                        This is my beloved,
Song of Solomon 5 And this is my friend,
                        O daughters of Jerusalem!

Song of Solomon 6 THE Daughters of Jerusalem

1 Where has your beloved gone,
  Song of Solomon 6
                       O fairest among women?
Song of Solomon 6

Where has your beloved turned aside,
Song of Solomon 6
That we may seek him with you?

Song of Solomon 6 THE Shulamite

2 My beloved has gone to his garden,
Song of Solomon 6
                      To the beds of spices,

To feed his flock in the gardens,
Song of Solomon 6
Song of Solomon 6 And to gather lilies.

                       3 I am my beloved’s,
Song of Solomon 6 And my beloved is mine.
He feeds his flock among the lilies.

Song of Solomon 6 THE Beloved

4 O my love, you are as beautiful as
Song of Solomon 6 Tirzah,
                      Lovely as Jerusalem,

Awesome as an army with banners!
Song of Solomon 6
5 Turn your eyes away from me,
Song of Solomon 6 For they have overcome me.

Your hair is like a flock of goats
                      Going down from Gilead.
6 Your teeth are like a flock of sheep
Which have come up from the
Song of Solomon 6   washing;
                      Every one bears twins,
And none is barren among them.
7 Like a piece of pomegranate
Are your temples behind your veil.

                       8 There are sixty queens
Song of Solomon 6 And eighty concubines,
                       And virgins without number.

9 My dove, my perfect one,
                       Is the only one,
Song of Solomon 6 The only one of her mother,
The favorite of the one who bore her.
10 Who is she who looks forth as the
Song of Solomon 6 morning,

                       Fair as the moon,
Song of Solomon 6

                       Clear as the sun,
Song of Solomon 6

Song of Solomon 6 Awesome as an army with banners?

Song of Solomon 6 THE Shulamite

11 I went down to the garden of nuts
Song of Solomon 6
To see the verdure of the valley,
To see whether the vine had budded
  Song of Solomon 6
                         And the pomegranates had bloomed.

12 Before I was even aware,
Song of Solomon 6 My soul had made me
As the chariots of my noble people.[a]

Song of Solomon 6 THE Beloved and His Friends

                      13 Return, return, O Shulamite;
Song of Solomon 6 Return, return, that we may look upon
                      you!

Song of Solomon 7 THE Beloved
1 How beautiful are your feet in sandals,
Song of Solomon 7

                       O prince’s daughter!
Song of Solomon 7

The curves of your thighs are like
Song of Solomon 7 jewels,

The work of the hands of a skillful
Song of Solomon 7 workman.

                      2 Your navel is a rounded goblet;
Song of Solomon 7
                      It lacks no blended beverage.

Your waist is a heap of wheat
Song of Solomon 7
                       Set about with lilies.
3 Your two breasts are like two fawns,
                       Twins of a gazelle.
4 Your neck is like an ivory tower,
Song of Solomon 7
Your eyes like the pools in Heshbon
By the gate of Bath Rabbim.

Your nose is like the tower of Lebanon
Song of Solomon 7 Which looks toward Damascus.

5 Your head crowns you like Mount
                    Carmel,
And the hair of your head is like
Song of Solomon 7
                    purple;
A king is held captive by your tresses.

6 How fair and how pleasant you are,
Song of Solomon 7
                       O love, with your delights!
Song of Solomon 7

7 This stature of yours is like a palm
Song of Solomon 7 tree,

And your breasts like its clusters.
Song of Solomon 7

8 I said, “I will go up to the palm tree,
Song of Solomon 7 I will take hold of its branches.”

Let now your breasts be like clusters of
                    the vine,
Song of Solomon 7 The fragrance of your breath like
                    apples,
9 And the roof of your mouth like the
Song of Solomon 7
                    best wine.
Song of Solomon 7 THE Shulamite

The wine goes down smoothly for my
Song of Solomon 7 beloved,

Moving gently the lips of sleepers.[a]
Song of Solomon 7

                      10 I am my beloved’s,
Song of Solomon 7 And his desire is toward me.
                        11 Come, my beloved,
Song of Solomon 7      Let us go forth to the field;

Let us lodge in the villages.
Song of Solomon 7

12 Let us get up early
Song of Solomon 7

                    to the vineyards;
Let us see if the vine has budded,
Song of Solomon 7
Whether the grape blossoms are open,
And the pomegranates are in bloom.

There I will give you my love.
13 The mandrakes give off a
                    fragrance,
Song of Solomon 7 And at our gates are pleasant fruits,
                        All manner, new and old,
Which I have laid up for you, my
                    beloved.
1 Oh, that you were like my brother,
Song of Solomon 8 Who nursed at my mother’s breasts!

If I should find you outside,
  Song of Solomon 8

                           I would kiss you;
Song of Solomon 8 I would not be despised.

2 I would lead you and bring you
Into the house of my mother,
  Song of Solomon 8
She who used to instruct me.

I would cause you to drink of spiced
                      wine,
  Song of Solomon 8
Of the juice of my pomegranate.

Song of Solomon 8 (To the Daughters of Jerusalem)
3 His left hand is under my head,
Song of Solomon 8 And his right hand embraces me.

                        4 I charge you, O daughters of
                    Jerusalem,
Song of Solomon 8
Do not stir up nor awaken love
                       Until it pleases.
Song of Solomon 8 A Relative

5 Who is this coming up from the
                    wilderness,
Song of Solomon 8
                       Leaning upon her beloved?

I awakened you under the apple tree.
Song of Solomon 8       There your mother brought you forth;
There she who bore you brought you
                    forth.

Song of Solomon 8 THE Shulamite to Her Beloved

6 Set me as a seal upon your heart,
                       As a seal upon your arm;
For love is as strong as death,
Jealousy as cruel as the grave;[a]
Its flames are flames of fire,
Song of Solomon 8 A most vehement flame.[b]
7 Many waters cannot quench love,
Nor can the floods drown it.
If a man would give for love
All the wealth of his house,
                       It would be utterly despised.
Song of Solomon 8 THE Shulamite’s Brothers
8 We have a little sister,
                      And she has no breasts.
Song of Solomon 8 What shall we do for our sister
In the day when she is spoken for?

9 If she is a wall,
                       We will build upon her
                       A battlement of silver;
Song of Solomon 8
And if she is a door,
                       We will enclose her
                       With boards of cedar.

Song of Solomon 8 THE Shulamite
                    10 I am a wall,
Song of Solomon 8      And my breasts like towers;

Then I became in his eyes
Song of Solomon 8 As one who found peace.
11 Solomon had a vineyard at Baal
                    Hamon;
Song of Solomon 8
                      He leased the vineyard to keepers;

Everyone was to bring for its fruit
Song of Solomon 8
                       A thousand silver coins.

Song of Solomon 8 (To Solomon)

12 My own vineyard is before me.
You, O Solomon, may have a
Song of Solomon 8 thousand,
And those who tend its fruit two
                    hundred.

Song of Solomon 8 THE Beloved

13 You who dwell in the gardens,
                       The companions listen for your
Song of Solomon 8
                    voice—
                       Let me hear it!

Song of Solomon 8 THE Shulamite
                    14 Make haste, my beloved,
                       And be like a gazelle
Song of Solomon 8 Or a young stag
                       On the mountains of spices.

Father, we blesse Your Holy and Righteous Name. Lord, Your Kingdom come. Your will be done on ea

expectancy for Your glorious return. In Jesus Name we pray,, Amen!

                    Signing off.
Some believe Solomon wrote this at his old age, in maturity
of his spiritual life after repentance. Some believe he wrote
it at his young age, because of the passion and purity in the
love. Regardless, this is a prophetic song, symbolic of the
love relationship between Christ and His bride, the Church,
as He guides her, leads her and molds her through the
journey of life with many trials and tests till she reaches to
maturity, the fullness in Christ, without blemish.

First touched by His love and grace. She is full of passion for
the Lord with a heart long dead and lost revived by the love
of God. Do we all remember our first encounters with the
Lord? I remember mine! I am sure we all have our unique
experiences, but that is what makes it special to each one of
us, His children.
Psalm 40
 1 I waited patiently for the LORD;
      And He inclined to me,
      And heard my cry.
2 He also brought me up out of a horrible pit,
      Out of the miry clay,
And set my feet upon a rock,
      And established my steps.
Hunger and thirst for more of Him, not because He already
gave me everything I want, or He can give me more of what
I want or do hat I want Him to do, but the desire of intimate
relationship with Him. Getting beyond fish and bread. Enter
into the union of life.

Yes, the Lord is indeed entirely lovely! Therefore, in those
young and innocent days, we are so drawn by His love, it is
not hard at all to love Him because He satisfies our soul!
And we want to share with everybody about Him. It does
not matter that our life is not a good testimony for Him!

Acts 4:11-12 (NKJV)
11 This is the ‘stone which was rejected by you builders,
which has become the chief cornerstone.’[a] 12 Nor is there
salvation in any other, for there is no other name under
heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (NKJV)
4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love
does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave
rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no
evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;
7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things,
endures all things.

Hebrews 13:10-13 (NKJV)
10 We have an altar from which those who serve the tabernacle have no right to eat. 11 For the bodies of those animals, who
blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned outside the camp. 12 Therefore Jesus also, that He
might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate. 13 Therefore let us go forth to Him, outside the cam
bearing His reproach.

Draw me away', so that many will follow after Christ. The
grace and witness of one of His children will impact many to
follow after. Life of fruitfulness. Kingdom yeast.

Entering into the Holy of Holies through Christ Jesus, as an
answer to her prayer of 'draw me away'.

Psalm 91
1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.
Her traveling companions, also fruit of her labor. The
daughters of Jerusalem probably smells the sweet aroma of
Jesus in Shulamite's life through trials and tests.

Colossians 1:9-13 (NKJV)
9 For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the
knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10 that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him,
being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 strengthened with all might, according to His
glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; 12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers
the inheritance of the saints in the light. 13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom
of the Son of His love,

Wine: broken and hard pressed and transformed. A tried life
by the Hand of God.

There is no jealousy in her. They do rightly love you. The
most successful servant of God is the one who leads people
to the direct relationship with the Lord, and remove oneself
from being a stumbling block.

Now as she comes closer to the Light of God's face, she sees
more of herself in her flesh. When we come closer to the
True Light, all of our mask of holiness will melt like wax,
which is why no one can see God and live.

But she has only experienced first circumcision, and her love
of her old self are still not completely gone.
She wants to share her joy with everybody else, and wishing
all of them will have what she has experienced with the
Lord! However, at this point of her spiritual life her
knowledge of God is very much limited by her experiences
with the Lord. She needs the whole Truth in the Word.

Dark and lovely, the glory and beauty of the world.

Still self conscientious.

Hebrews 12
1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin whic
so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finishe
of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right ha
of the throne of God.

We have all be marred and hurt by life since we live in a lost
and fallen world. When we stop looking back and finding
excuses for ourselves, this is when we are truly completely
healed.

Because now she has a deeper encounter with the Lord, and
she no longer just blindly follow what they are doing a=or
do what they tell her to do, which obviously has not
satisfied her. That is why she is hungry for mere.
She was doing what men, maybe even her spiritual leaders told her to do. When the enlightenment and conviction of the Hol
Spirit comes, and we see our works in the flesh and all that used to make us feel good now become only works of the flesh, it
a very humbling experience. I feel unworthy, in times taken back, and other times tempted with condemnation. Truly no one
can serve God and in my flesh it is good for nothng.
And thank God He does not reveal all of our sins and iniquities all at once. If He does that, for sure on one can live. I know i
can't!

"My own vineyard": The things God entrusted to her and
called her to do. She found out that she had been chasing
the wind in vain. Everything she did before was a waste and
the grieve consequence she suffered for neglecting her own
vineyard!
But it is indeed not in vain, because through those painful
experiences we learn to obedience.

Therefore, in her wilderness she cries out to her Lord,
whose love touches satisfied her for a season, but seems no
longer enough now.

Why is my soul cast down? Why am I not satisfied? Where
is your living water? This is the Lord's answer to her prayer:
"Draw me away".

She wants rest and peace in her soul, which seems that she
could not get right now, which she will not untill she come
to a place of total surrender. This is a painful process and
takes time. And we use our will power to surrender and
praise through trusting that all things work together for the
good to those who love Him and are called according to His
purposes.

She has offered herself up as a burnt offering on the
altar, and she is now caught up in a inner strife, which
nothing the Lord's companions are feeding her can quench
that fire. She longs for truth.
How can you not know? I gave you my Word, and there is a
cloud of witness ahead of you! Et we can be foolish indeed,
because of he bondage of sin and lust of the flesh in our old
self.

This is the first time the Lord speaks in this song. It is
encouragement to her. The Lord sees her natural beauty,
the gifts and grace bestowed on her. She is fairest among
women, because she is hungry and thirsty for God.

1 Corinthians 11: 1 Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ.
1 Thessalonians 2:14 (NKJV)
14 For you, brethren, became imitators of the churches of
God which are in Judea in Christ Jesus. For you also suffered
the same things from your own countrymen, just as they did
from the Judeans,

Those the Lord gives to her care. We are blessed to be a
blessing. We cannot just persue His presence for our own
enjoyment, but to share the heart and mind of the Lord and
be His hands and feet.
With many of those who are called for the same purpose,
for we are one in spirit in body. We have one Head. Mary
indeed chose the good part, but the Lord entered into their
house upon Martha's invitation.

She is His love, not His bride yet, because right now she only
knows that she needs the Lord, but she has yet to learn the
marriage covenant requires her to offer herself up on the
altar as living sacrifice.

Filly: horse. Pharoah's horses are strong and fast. Right now,
Shulamite is operating in her own natural strength,
impressive to men, but not led and controlled by the Holy
Spirit.
Isaiah 53:6 (NKJV)
6 All we like sheep have gone astray;
    We have turned, every one, to his own way;
And the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

Lovely cheeks: natural beauty. Ornaments: works of Holy
Spirit in her heart Right now her spiritual level is for the
most part in natural strength, but have experienced the
work of Holy Spirit.

In our flesh we are stiff necked and rebellious, because of
the sinful nature. Chain of gold: purified in fire. When her
neck is adorned with chain of gold, then she has gone
through some lessons of obedience through suffering.
When we walk in disobedience, we are indeed persecuting
the Lord and serving the devil.
Now her testimony has inspired many to follow. Together
they will walk this path of life in journey to Zion. This is
God's desire for us that all will be tried and tested and be
purified in our hearts so we will shine for Him and be
partakers in His glory for eternity.

Milk and honey form His life, when we abide in Him, His life
flows into us and through us.
Matthew 5:6
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
For they shall be filled.

Her spikenard: her sacrifice and offering. Since she is sitting
at the King's table, this is an offering unto the Lord to satisfy
His heart.

From Wikipedia: Myrrh (pronounced /ˈmɜr/) is the aromatic oleoresin of a number of small, thorny tree species of the genus
Commiphora, which grow in dry, stony soil.[1] An oleoresin is a natural blend of an essential oil and a resin. Myrrh resin is a
natural gum.
When a tree wound penetrates through the bark and into the sapwood, the tree bleeds a resin. Myrrh gum, like frankincense
such a resin. When people harvest myrrh, they wound the trees repeatedly to bleed them of the gum.

Our Lord is indeed a bundle of myrrh to us!
Now because we partake His suffering, we are joined
together with Him. Our life can be a peace offering unto the
Lord and bring pleasure to His heart.

Now she is walking into the life on the altar. Our journey
with the Lord begins with Salvation. At first encounter with
the Lord, we see the darkness of sin in our hearts upon the
Light of His Face. We reeive Christ as our Savior, like a
bundle of myrr we holds Him dear unto our hearts and we
are filled with thanksgiving receiving the saving grace in
forgiveness of all of our sins. The Lord is indeed entirely
lovely and loving and we are so poor and needy! Now we
respond to that love with brokenness of the flask and
offering of our life on the altar as a sweet aroma unto the
Lord.

Vineyards: God's house. Grapevines are not known for its
beautiful flowering, but bountiful in fruition. We do not only
have the Lord in our hearts, but we are called to live a life
demonstrating the reality of Christ living in us. Be the light
to the world and salt on earth.

David's wilderness as he is hiding from Saul's pursuit of his
life: the lost and dying world without God, which we are
called to be His witness.

The Lord encourages us to move forward with His love. We
have indeed offered our lives unto the Lord, but we are still
young and immature in statue. As a parent wooing the baby
just learning to walk, we need a lot of encouragement in
expression of His love.
But we are still only His love, not His bride. But the Lord
sees the end from the beginning.
Isaiah 55:11
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It
shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I
please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

Now we have gained some knowledge of God and we are
starting to see the things around us from His perspective.

Our song starts with everything the Lord is to us. We are
grateful to the Lord for everything He has done for us. We
are very much like spiritual babies needing love and wanting
more, but we have yet to learn to respond to His love. Now
our focus is turning from ourselves to the Lord. We begin to
see beyond ourselves and we can praise and worship Him
for Who He IS, not for Who He is to me. This is when our
faith is increased that we look beyond our circumstances
and we surrender our will to His will and our way to His
way.

Every time we choose to yield unto the Lord in His will, it
may be painful in the moment, but when we come through,
we always find ourselves rejoicing and grateful for the grace
given to us to obey, because we experience new freedom in
our life!
Full of life.
Jeremiah 17:7-8 (NKJV)
7“ Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD,
And whose hope is the LORD.
8 For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters,
Which spreads out its roots by the river,
    And will not fear[a] when heat comes;
But its leaf will be green,
And will not be anxious in the year of drought,
Nor will cease from yielding fruit.

Psalm 91
1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.”

She has been given the wings to soar and now it is the time
for test of her heart and her strength. Sharon and valley are
both symbolic of difficulties and wilderness experience
(isaiah 33:9, Psalm 84:5).But in the midst of our
circumstances, we express the beauty of His resurrected
Life in us.

The Lord is setting us up for some challenges. If we are like
a lily and dwell among thorns, chances are if we want to
keep the Light and beautity and demonstrate His grace, we
will be stung a few times, not only just in the world, more
likely 'in the house', 'among the daughters'.

Until our hearts are thoroughly tried, tested and purified,
we are still His love 'among the daughters'. God desires for
us to be overcomers.
At this point we are still calculating the cost of following the
the Lord all the way. The world still has temptations trying
to draw us away from the Lord, for indeed, entering the
Kingdom of God requires us to deny ourselves and carry the
cross.

We have enough experience with the Lord and enough Light
in our hearts to know that His love is indeed better than
anything the world has to offer.

Grace upon grace! But indeed we are commanded not to
receive grace in vain.

His Word is indeed sweet to our soul, but we will learn that
it is difficult when we try to put it into practice.

Now we start witnessing for the Lord. If we are honest, we
are all bunch of amateurs in terms of warfare. We are all
pretty immature in terms of character development. Our
best tricks are like the children's game in God's eyes. But He
looks upon our hearts. He willnever find anybody to use on
earth if He has to wait for any one of us to be perfected. He
generously pours down His blessings upon us. Father, help
us not to be a bottleneck for you.
Right now we have tasted the Lord's love and know that He
is gooooood! We have yet to discover many faucets in His
characters. Can we ever comprehend everything about
Him? I believe we have eternity to explore.

Tasted the living water, we desire for more, which is why
we consistantly cry out for revival and outpouring, because
we long for Him!Spiritual gifts will not satisfy us, large
ministries will not satisfy us. We need HIM.

His nail scarred Hand upholds us so we can break free from
the snares of the sin and look upon our God in Heaven.

Kings 17:36-37 (NKJV)
36 but the LORD, who brought you up from the land of
Egypt with great power and an outstretched arm, Him you
shall fear, Him you shall worship, and to Him you shall offer
sacrifice. 37 And the statutes, the ordinances, the law, and
the commandment which He wrote for you, you shall be
careful to observe forever; you shall not fear other gods.

The amplified Bible identifies this verse as "He said" instead
of "she said". I tend to agree. There is a time to battle and a
time to rest. As Mary sat before the Lord feast upon Him
and the woman with flask oil poured upon the Lord's feet,
we can also experience the times we are so drawn by His
loving presence, we are oblivious to everything else around
us and even to the existane of our own self. Worship in
spirit of truth. This is the completion of the answer to the
prayer "draw me away".
Matthew 18:3
and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the
kingdom of heaven.

It will be great if the journey stops right there and rapture
comes right now and we are all caught up in Heaven! But as
Beth Moore said one time: you just keep waking up
everyday! The danger of us getting hibernated in that place
and forget our life has a purpose. Do we want revival? Can
we hear Him calling.....

The Lord is walking on the earth even today, through those
walking in obedience to Him. The path of life is by no means
smooth and easy. The truth is it's impossible for us to travel
that road without the grace of God. Even with His grace,
with the Holy Spirit in us, it is still narrow and difficult, "for
wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to
destruction, and there are many who go in by it" (Matthew
7:13).

However, He has overcome. Therefore He walks in spiritual
authority and He will lead His church to tirumph, if we
persevere to the end.

The wall separates us from the Lord is our self-
centeredness.

Revelation 3:20-21 (NKJV)
20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with hi
and he with Me. 21 To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My
Father on His throne.
Still only the one He loves, but we have yet to learn to love
Him and love others as He loves and in doing that we
become one with Him.

Hebrews 13:12-14 (NKJV)
12 Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate. 13 Therefore let us
forth to Him, outside the camp, bearing His reproach. 14 For here we have no continuing city, but we seek the one to come.

We have been saved from the spiritual death and given a
new life. Much grace has been bestowed upon us. Now it is
time to live the reurrected Life. Arise and shine!

The stream has dried up. The Lord will no longer pour down
the way He did before. He expects us to conquor new
heights and grow in Him.

Before we were like lily among the thorns. Now the flowers appear on the earth. Why does the Lord place lily among the
thorns? I believe for two reasons:1) Draw me away so we will follow. A grain has to die and be buried in the ground before it
produce a harvest; 2) The Word of God is a double edged sword. Some of us are given much grace and many spiritual gifts,
therefore stand out in the crowd. However, if we never go through brokenness, we may demonstrate our own strength and
boast in our own special favor from God. We are in danger of stealing the glory which rightfully belongs to God. The real pow
and strength of the Life in God is the ressurrection power. If we never die to ourselves, we never experience ressurrection.

About two years after I was saved, my boss handed me a
Joyce Meyer teaching tape. This is the beginning of years of
my spiritual journey following her ministry. I grew up in an
abusive background, in a different way. As Joyce Meyer laid
down her life like an open book, demonstrating God's grace
and healing power in her life, I took the journey with her
and received much healing through her brokenness. I was a
baby and the only thing I did was drinking and eating and
crying. One time through my sobbing tears, the Lord laid in
my heart to pray for her. So my first intercessary prayer was
asking the Lord to take the emotional pain away from her.
Really I think I was only praying for myself.
If God desires truth in our inward parts (Psalm 51:6) and the
spiritual battle is about our hearts, then the true power of
the Holy Spirit is within, not without. Signs, wonders and
miracles are given to confirm the message of Gospel. They
are not the message.

Why do we cry out for miracles but do not see them in
America, but they are everywhere in Africa? Personally, I
don't believe they are having a revival. But if 80% of
Americans think we are saved, but have no change in hearts
and experience no transformation in life, we need to ask
ourselves if we met the True Holy Spirit Who is God. I think
every Christian, even those in Africa need to ask the same
question.
If Jesus came to do the will of the Father, Holy Spirit
certainly does not come to do the will of men. Our only
position before the Holy Spirit is to obey. Test the spirits
against the Word of God (1John 4:1).

Matthew 20:15-16 (NKJV)
15 Is it not lawful for me to do what I wish with my own
things? Or is your eye evil because I am good?’ 16 So the
last will be first, and the first last. For many are called, but
few chosen.”
Matthew 22:12-14 (NKJV)
12 So he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here
without a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless. 13
Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot,
take him away, and[a] cast him into outer darkness; there
will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
14 “For many are called, but few are chosen.”
The Lord sees the end from teh beginning. Now we re
empowered by the Holy Sprit. More grace has been poured
down on us because of the victory the Lord has given us
already. We have His life in us, we need to live it, which is
required of all of us not to receive grace in vain. Yes, we are
created and saved to do his works to bring His Kingdom to
earth.
Ephesians 2:8-10 (NKJV)
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that
not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest
anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship,
created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared
beforehand that we should walk in them.

Rise up and conquor the new spiritual heights. To those
much is given, much is required. Clefts: borkenness. Taking
off the grave clothe will be painful. Lily amonth the thorns
will be painful, and the fragrance of the Lord come from our
wounds as people harvest frankincense and myrr from
wounding the tree.

The secret place of the Most High is not a place of
tranquility, but a place of great spiritual battle as is
demonstrated in Psalm 91. Now is not the time to sit
around and have a good life, but the Lord is calling us to join
His army until we trample the enemy under our feet!
John 14:26-28 (NKJV)
26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will
send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to
your remembrance all things that I said to you. 27 Peace I
leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world
gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled,
neither let it be afraid. 28 You have heard Me say to you, ‘I
am going away and coming back to you.’ If you loved Me,
you would rejoice because I said,[a] ‘I am going to the
Father,’ for My Father is greater than I.
Shining His light and reflecting His glory.
Revelation 1:16
He had in His right hand seven stars, out of His mouth went
a sharp two-edged sword, and His countenance was like the
sun shining in its strength.

Matthew 6
Our Father in heaven,
   Hallowed be Your name.
    10 Your kingdom come.
   Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
   As we forgive our debtors.
13 And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory
forever. Amen.[c]
Faith and love is our breastplate of righteousness.

Fox: known for being cunning and trickery. The deceiver,
the enemy in desgise of the angel of light.

Attacking against our confidence and faith in God, causing
worry, anxiety and doubt etc., whatever it takes to turn us
away from God and cause us disconnected from the vine,
which flows the Life in our hearts.

This Is the time that requires our faith and use of our will
power to make choices of life. When everything does not
make sense in our lives, the only way we can get through is
choosing to trust Him.
Right now our primary focus is still who the Lord is for me.
He truly satisfies our soul!

And we are content to live in His fortress, under His
protection.

We should be His co-laborers.
Matthew 9:37-38 (NKJV)
37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is
plentiful, but the laborers are few. 38 Therefore pray the
Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

Of which we are away. Indeed our Lord "comes Leaping
upon the mountains, Skipping upon the hills" (Psalm 2:8),
looking for each one of us, the lost sheep, the prodigal child.

Now at the Light of His face, we realize there is a shadow
between us, a wall separates us from the Lord. We cannot
go where He is going, and we cannot do what He calls us to
do. But instead of rising up to follow Him, we wait for the
shadow to somehow just go away.

How disappointing must it be to the Lord that we simply
want to stay in yesterday's light! But His mercy renews
everyday.
This is a prayer that will go unanswered. We are called to
follow the Lord. He will not be content neither can He rest
with us lying dormant in disobedience to Him, leaving us
once again in bondage.

But ultimatly, it is still our choice to obey, which is why
many are called, few are chosen.

Now the night comes and we feel the pain of
chasetisement. Because we want to simply enjoy the
feelings of His presence, He simply withdrew that feeling.
We have been carried on His shoulder. Now that He wants
us to learn to walk. We indeed love Him! Nothing in this
world can compare to our Lord!

We are hungry and thirsty for Him, yet we simply cannot
find Him where we are! When the pillar of clouds is lifted
up, we much follow.

Matthew 8:23-24 (NKJV)
23 Now when He got into a boat, His disciples followed Him. 24 And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the b
was covered with the waves. But He was asleep.

Matthew 8:25 Then His disciples came to Him and awoke
Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!”

Matthew 8:26 (NKJV)
26 But He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little
faith?” Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea,
and there was a great calm.
Those the Lord positioned in His house to tend the flock.

Working diligently watching the Lord's house. The risk of a
strong watchman is becoming a strongman. The greatest
calling of a servant of God is of stewardship, leading the
flock to the Lord to hear His voice and follow Him. The best
'Christians' we can raise up in our own strength will be
lower than our own stature. But in the Lord there is no limit.

Reached out to me. Really out the the mercy knowing the
frailty in our spiritual youth, the Lord sends out helpers,
whose who are stronger and more mature than we are.

Matthew 7:7-8 (NKJV)
7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find;
knock, and it will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who
asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who
knocks it will be opened.
She asked people but seeking the Lord. This simple heart of
worship must be pleasing unto the Lord. People may have
offered her guidnace, but the Lord answered her. Praise
God only he satisfies our soul! His Word quenches the thirst
in our heart and His Holy Spirit is our Comforter, Helper and
Teacher!

Whatever guidance the watchmen of the city gave to her,
she did not get new Light or receive more freedom that
comes only from Truth that we learn. Worse, not only she
still try to hold unto Him for herself, but also in a possessive
way.

Although she has not turned from her old way, the Lord
sees the misery she is in without Him, in mercy He humbly
came down and followed her. Grace upon grace.

Genesis 35 marks the great turning point of Israel. After he
returned from exile and made a mess in Schechem and
finally turned around and went to Bethel, where the Lord
told him to go in the first place, then Deborah, Rebekah's
nurse died (/genesis 35:8). In verse 9, the Lord appeared to
Israel. Rachel and Isaac all died in the same chapter,,
symbolic of completion of a great transition. Why is it
important for Rebekah's nurse to die? ecause she is the one
feeding Rebekah's manipulative and witchcraft spirit.
Rebekah never cut off her umbilical cord.

But the Lord's desire is for us is to walk where He walks and
go where He goes and that we reign and rule with Him,
dwell in the secret place of the Most High.
We are all conceived in sin. After she is redeemed of her
sins, she is once again entangled in rebellion and sel-
centered idol worship due to lack of Light and knowledge of
the Word of Truth. This is spiritual death.

Wraps up another phase. Since we did not seem to have
grown in any spiritual knowledge and wisdom, what good
does it come out of this suffering? The Lord tested our
hearts and sees that there is indeed faith and love in our
hearts for Him. Therefore we may endure the next phase of
challenge or opportunity coming our way.

The Holy One of Israe stretches out His Mighty Arms, seeing
that we are indeed withoug hope apart from Him!
John 15:5
“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me,
and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do
nothing.

Joel 2:29-31 (NKJV)
29 And also on My menservants and on My maidservants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days.
30 “ And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the
earth:
Blood and fire and pillars of smoke.
31 The sun shall be turned into darkness,
   And the moon into blood,
Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the
LORD.
Frangrance of suffering, sweet aroma of Christ.
Hosea 14:6
His branches shall spread; His beauty shall be like an olive
tree, And his fragrance like Lebanon.

Merchant: trader. The sacrificial offering of the saints in
obedience unto the Lord. The suffering of Christ completes
the redemption. But the suffering of His body - the church -
continues for as long as we are still on earth, which is why
we need to "fill up in my flesh what is lacking in the
afflictions of Christ, for the sake of His body, which is the
church" (Colossians 1:24).

The Lord's resting place. He has overcome!
Psalm 29:10 (NKJV)
10 The LORD sat enthroned at the Flood,
And the LORD sits as King forever.
11 The LORD will give strength to His people;
The LORD will bless His people with peace.

Isaiah 6:7-10 (NKJV)
7 And he touched my mouth with it, and said:
    “ Behold, this has touched your lips;
    Your iniquity is taken away,
    And your sin purged.”
8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying:
    “ Whom shall I send,
And who will go for Us?”

Hebrews 4:11-13 (NKJV)
11 Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience. 12 For the
word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, an
of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 And there is no creature hidden from His
sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.
Has there indeed no persecution in America? Try to speak
the Truth behind the pulpit. Try to witness for the Lord in
the work place and in our own house. Even in church today,
we pray for men's needs and lust for prosperity, healing and
every worldly blessing rather than the Lord's will and
according to His Word, for fear of offending someone. Why
have we gone astray from the Lord? Why has Truth not
been preached on the pulpit? Deception and fear are
persecutions and we have yielded to them.

Spiritual heights. America is given wings like eagle to soar!

Like the Ark of Covenant should be carried by the Levites,
this one is carried on men's shoulder, by all of us, His
children, called and chosen by Him.

Time to unleash the sword. Let the Truth come forth. Let
the Holy Spirit reign and rule in our hearts.
Those that worship the Lord in spirit of and truth. Those
that are not bound by the earthly things, but are the
descendants of the Lord from Jerusalem above.

Arise and shine, all of us who are called by His Name!

Mother of Jesus, blessed Virgin Mary! Indeed all
generations shall call her blessed!

Luke 1:38 (NKJV)
38 Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord!
Let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel
departed from her.

Revelation 19:6-8 (NKJV)
6 And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings
saying, “Alleluia! For the[a] Lord God Omnipotent reigns! 7 Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of t
Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” 8 And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and brigh
for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.

Repeated praise as Song 1:15, except that now she is
wearing a veil, a covering of humility and obedience. She is
given dove's eyes to see into the spiritual realm, but now
she does not show off in her own beauty and glory, but she
holds truth inwardly and walks in humble obedience unto
the Holy Spirit. Indeed the love of God satisfies her soul.
Strength in obedience.

Gilead is the land for the two and half tribes on the east side
of Jordan. Conquored, but not without interference. What
we need is more Word, our spiritual food.

chewing on the Word.

Cleansed, purified.

and multiplies, bearing much fruition.

Them: the twins, her spiritual fruit. Kingdom yeast at
working.
Strand of scarlet: Salvation, sealed by the Blood of Jesus.
Atoned for, no longer unclean lips which speaks idle
language. Now ready to speak as the Holy Spirit prompts
and out of which flows life.

Luke 4:22
So all bore witness to Him, and marveled at the gracious
words which proceeded out of His mouth. And they said, “Is
this not Joseph’s son?”
Ecclesiastes 10:12
The words of a wise man’s mouth are gracious, But the lips
of a fool shall swallow him up;

Hebrews 13:5 (NKJV)
5 Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content
with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will
never leave you nor forsake you.”[a]

Corresponding to the dove's eye behind veil. If she was a lily
among the thorns because all her beauty and glory shines
before men, now she walks in love, humility and obedience.
Fruit of spirit is manifested in her life. She has become more
like Jesus. If before she witnesses to anybody, now she
knows more wisdom not to throw pearl before the swines,
but to be led by the Spirit. Descernment and separation
from the world.

Because she works with wisdom and in obedience, she
become a co-laborer of the Holy Spirit. By the conviction
power of the Lord, she yields much fruition in her life.
Tower of David, the conquor, victorious warrior. The
anointed king of Israel. From his root will spring forth the
BRANCH. Because she learned submission and obedience
to the Holy Spirit, she now operates in the heavenly
authority and power. She has the Lord on her side because
she chooses to be on His side.

Proverbs 18:10
The name of the LORD is a strong tower; The righteous run
to it and are safe.
Zechariah 9:9-12 (NKJV)
9 “ Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion!
   Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem!
   Behold, your King is coming to you;
He is just and having salvation,
Lowly and riding on a donkey,
A colt, the foal of a donkey.
10 I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim
   And the horse from Jerusalem;
The battle bow shall be cut off.
   He shall speak peace to the nations;
His dominion shall be ‘from sea to sea,
And from the River to the ends of the earth.’[a]

Faith and love. Theya re like twins of a gazella. We can't
walk in one without the other.

In Song 2:16, her beloved is feeds the flocks among the
lillies. Now she is feeding alongside Him, where the Lord
feeds His flock.

Some believe this is actually of Shulamite. I tend to agree,
because it is in contrast to 2:17, except before she wanted
the Lord to come to her, now she is following the Lord.
Mountain of myrrh and hill of frankincense: suffering of the
cross. In the encouragement and the Light of His Face, she
sees again the shadow in her heart. Therefore, she now
desires to crucify her flesh by carrying the cross, so she can
be united with her Beloved Lord. Offering of sacrifice once
again.

Her renewed vow of offering herself on the altar is indeed
like a sweet aroma unto the Lord!

From Lebanao: From the spiritual heights of the heavenly
realms.

This is the first time the Lord ever calls her spouse. Now
entering into the marriage union. Bride of the Lamb,
because of her willingness to share His suffering.

Soar like an eagel. Making the secret places of the Most
High her dwelling place.
It is not a place of comfort and we just sit around being cute
little Christians receving every blessing. But no, the Lord is
calling us to battle. Speak the Truth. Preach teh Word and
testify of His grace. When we are faithful with the little He
has given us, He weill give us grace upon grace.

May we all cleanse our hearts and return to Him with our whole heart and worship Him in spirit and truth. May we truly be
known as the bride of the Lamb without blemish, pleasing unto His heart. Father, we offer up ourselves up on the altar for Yo

praise You! We adore You Jesus. May Your Name be high and lifted up . Every nation and every people will bow down to You.
Everything with breath praise Your Name! In Jesus mighty Name we pray, Amen!

This is the first time the Lord praised her for her love! The
Lord has said that she is fair, but had never known her love
till now, when she offered up her life on th altar!

Matthew 22:36-38 (NKJV)
36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?”
37 Jesus said to him, “ ‘You shall love the LORD your God
with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your
mind.’[a] 38 This is the first and great commandment.

Bride of the LAMB needs to be a lamb, gentle, humble,
lowly in heart, loving righteousness and hating evil.

Corresponding to Song 1:2. We are all drawn to the Lord by
His love expressed on the Cross of Calvary. We repent and
are satisfied in His love embrace. We can grow into the
maturity that our love can satisfy the Lord's heart as His
satisfies ours. This is the longing desire of the Lord for His
bride.
Without the stench of mammon! Only by the works of Holy
Spirit in our hearts can we be changed into the Image
wearing the aroma of the Lord. Test the spirits! Just because
someone sings a few songs in the name of the Holy Spirit
does not make him filled with the True Holy Spirit!
Therefore, examine the fruit of life and fruit of lips! "21 Test
all things; hold fast what is good. 22 Abstain from every
form of evil." (1 Thessalonians 5:21), especially
mammon. No one can buy our way into the Kingdom of
God!
1 Corinthians 1:18-21 (NKJV)
18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who
are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power
of God. 19 For it is written:
“ I will destroy the wisdom of the wise,
And bring to nothing the understanding of the
prudent.”[a]
20 Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the
disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom
of this world? 21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world
through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through
the foolishness of the message preached to save those who
believe.

Controlled flow of Life, instead of outburst, but led, guided
and at the prompt and conviction of the Holy Spirit.

Word of God, as feeding of the breasts.
Garments: our deeds. Fragrance: righeous works in
obedience to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Spiritual heights. The Lord did not come to receive the glory
of the world. But His glory is in the suffering on the Cross,
when He is lifted up before the world, put to shame to all
the world's temptation and sin. Through death on th Cross
He judged the ruler of the world and conquored death.

Amos 9:10-13 (NKJV)
10 All the sinners of My people shall die by the sword,
Who say, ‘The calamity shall not overtake nor confront
us.’
11“ On that day I will raise up
The tabernacle[a] of David, which has fallen down,
    And repair its damages;
I will raise up its ruins,
    And rebuild it as in the days of old;

That no cunning and trickery doctrines can get in. The Lord's
church watches diligently over her garden and holds fast to
the Truth.

Living water poured down on the garden of her heart.
Because she guards her heart, the Living Water can flow
through her and bless many around her. Purity of the
Gospel.
Revelation 21:3-5 (NKJV)
3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the
tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them,
and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them
and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from
their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor
crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things
have passed away.”
5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all
things new.” And He said to me,[a] “Write, for these words
are true and faithful.”

Every sacrificial offering of His people unto the Lord, which
is like a sweet aroma pleasing to His heart.

Revelation 7:14-16 (NKJV)
14 And I said to him, “Sir,[a] you know.”
So he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in
the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He w

them, nor any heat;

Father God, we bless Your Holy and righteous Name! We love You. We glorify You. Your love is indeed better than wine. O Lo
You have told us in this world we will have tribulations, but we thank You that You have conquored this world so that we can
walk in victory. Lord, thank You for Your saving grace. Thank You for grace each and everyday. Lord we need You. May You

before Your Throne till the end. We bow down before Your Throne. We long for the day that You will come back for us and ta
us home with You. Together with all the saints before us, we will worship You day and night and behold Your Face. We love Y
Thank You for loing us. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen!

Quite chilly and cold. Some tests and trials will come her
way. But now, 1) she is not afraid, because of all the battles
she went through and she learned the faithfulness of the
Lord; 2) She desires more than anything else to please the
heart fo the Father in Heaven. Strong and courageous.
Gentle and warm with comfort in the flesh. America's
calling is not to die for Christ, but to live for Him, which I
believe is a higher calling that can only come from strong
dedication and commitment to the Lord. We have to grow
out of spiritual infancy into full maturity.

Hebrews 5:12-14 (NKJV)
12 For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you
need someone to teach you again the first principles of the
oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not
solid food. 13 For everyone who partakes only of milk is
unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. 14
But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is,
those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to
discern both good and evil.

Light and salt before the world. Testify His grace. Glorify His
Name. From shiny sea to shiny sea, people will come to
worship the Lord.

Now she becomes selfless. She has grown from being self-
cetered to God-centered. Her garden became His garden.
She lives, labors and shines for the glory of the King.

The Lord rejoices over her progress. She receives her
offering with pleasure in heart! Doesn't our Father rejoice
over every tiny step we take towards Him!
Her offering of sacrifice and suffering in carrying her cross.
Does the lord really enjoy our suffering in this present life? I
don't think so, but He knows it is necessary for us if we want
to be close to Him for eternity.

Indeed there is nothing we can do without the Lord! The
Lord rightfully claims everything we have and every victory
we have won in our lives as His. We are where we are today
because of His grace and His work in our lives. Nevertheless,
it indeed pleases His heart when we honor Him with what
He entrusts in our hands. Faithfulness.

I dn't know how many can reach this kind of spirituality as
the Shulamite at this point. You would thnk by now she is
ready for Heaven:-) She probably thinks so, too, which is
why she lies down again.

She did not slumber or backslied, but she only stopped
persevering forward. But the Lord has more for her! It is an
upward call and the road gets narrower!

John 10:27-29 (NKJV)
27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. 28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish
neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is
able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand.

The sad truth is when we stop moving forward, we stop
following Him. Why does Job have to go through what he
went through?
Perfect one: Job lived about the same time as Abraham as
some believe. Abraham has flaws and he probably knows it.
His righteousness comes from faith in God and walking with
the Lord. Job is really perfected in himself. He fears God and
is blameless and upright. However, he only heard about God
but never truly knew (saw) Him (Job 42:5). Therefore, God
cannot use Job the same way He uses Abraham.

Luke 22:44-45 (NKJV)
44 And being in agony, He prayed more earnestly. Then His
sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the
ground.[a]
45 When He rose up from prayer, and had come to His
disciples, He found them sleeping from sorrow.

Locks: locks of hair. Obedience to death. The suffering Lord.
Numbers 6:5
‘All the days of the vow of his separation no razor shall
come upon his head; until the days are fulfilled for which he
separated himself to the LORD, he shall be holy. Then he
shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow.

It takes destruction of all his possessions, death of all his ten
children, boils and disease all over his body, condemnation
and betrayal of his wife, and many rounds of judgmental
attacks from his faithful friends for Job's self-righteousness
to come out of him. No wonder the Lord calls him blameless
and upright! But God desires a relationship with him. It
pleases God that we know Him, and in the Light of His Face,
all of our self-righteousnesses are like filthy rugs!
She is content to be where she is. Maybe she is not as
courageous as she thinks she is at one time. All those winds
from the north and form the south, the thorns the myrrh
and frankincense did have an impact on her! Or some of us
may be enjoying a godly reputation, running a successful
ministry and walking in a powerful anointing. It is hard to
give it all away! Every one of us has a stronghold or excuse
for disobedience.

Nail scarred Hand, showing the Way to eternity.
Matthew 19:21
Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what
you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in
heaven; and come, follow Me.”

Because of the love of the Cross.

2 Thessalonians 1:3 We are bound to thank God always for
you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows
exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds
toward each other, 4 so that we ourselves boast of you
among the churches of God for your patience and faith in all
your persecutions and tribulations that you endure, 5 which
is manifest evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that
you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for
which you also suffer;

2 Timothy 1:8-9
8 Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for
gospel according to the power of God, 9 who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but
according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began,

The lock that was touched by the nail-scarred Hand, now
joined together with the myrrh dripping from her own hand.
Fellowship and oneness in His suffering.
This is suffering, but more chasetisement for her delayed
obedience.

Luke 12:49-51 (NKJV)
49 “I came to send fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled! 50 But I have a baptism to be baptized with, and
how distressed I am till it is accomplished! 51 Do you suppose that I came to give peace on earth? I tell you, not at all, but rat
division.

She should have obeyed right way,but now she has to pay a
greater price for her disobedience.

The same watchmen she encountered before. Their spiritual
guidance almost caused her spiritual death.

This time she would not listen to them because she has
grown enough to know whatever their counsel is not true.
Wounded either in church or in the world? This is what it
takes to get the myrrh and frankincense out, by strucking
the tree, so that people around us can see the Light in us
and come to receive truth.

She has been stripped off her glory, either the anointing,
ministry, testimony. She is put to shame.

All the trials and tests broke her heart, but only make her all
the more long for the God she knew and love, for she has
tasted His grace and she knows nothing this world has to
offer can make up the loss of not having her God.
Job's testimony.
What is amazing is that her testimony in the suffering did
not make those less spiritual than she is despise her. To the
contrary, they are drawn by her faith. Her testimony
inspired them to draw nearer to God and to know Him
more intimately.

They actually see the Life of Christ in her and smell the
aroma of Christ.

Isn't her God the same as theirs? Except that she knows the
Lord in the depth of knowledge they have yet to attain.

Revelation 1:13-15 (NKJV)
13 and in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded
about the chest with a golden band. 14 His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of
fire; 15 His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters;

Revelation 19:12-14 (NKJV)
12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had[a] a name written that no one knew except
Himself. 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies in heave
clothed in fine linen, white and clean,[b] followed Him on white horses.

Indeed no one can be compared to our Lord!

Son of God, full of honor, glory and purity. Holy! Holy!
Holy!!!
Locks of harair: strength that comes with the presence of
God in our obedience tom Him.

Gentle, humble, yet in the spiritual heights looking into
eternity. This is our Lord.
Matthew 11:28-30 (NKJV)
28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and
I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn
from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will
find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My
burden is light.”

Jeremiah 17:7-8 (NKJV)
7 “ Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD,
And whose hope is the LORD.
8 For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters,
Which spreads out its roots by the river,
    And will not fear[a] when heat comes;
But its leaf will be green,
And will not be anxious in the year of drought,
Nor will cease from yielding fruit.

Milk: feeding

God is orderly and He reigns and rule by His Word.
Lord, help us remember that in all of the grace You
bestowed upon us, You paid a great price. Every healing we
receive, every forgiveness of our transgressions come from
the Blood You shed for us. And You call each an everyone of
Your children to partake that suffering, for Your pilgrim
church, for all those souls lost in a dying world. Father,
strengthen us, and give each and everyone of us Your heart
and wisdom, knowledge and understanding of Your mind to
partake Your suffering so that we do no receive grace in
vain and we can partake Your glory for eternity. In Jesus
Name we pray, Amen!

Honor, glory, gracious, full of mercy, even though grow out
of filth, but without blemish.

In His suffering He demonstrated the Holiness of God, the
Creator of Heaven and earth.

Ruling authority.

Carved: works of Holy Spirit. Ivory: can be obtained in the
death of the elephant.
Like a Rock, unmovable, unshakable and unchangeable.
From everlasting to everlasting, He is God.

Matthew 17
1 Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; 2 and He
was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. 3 And behold, Moses
and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him.

Psalm 145:17-18 (NKJV)
17 The LORD is righteous in all His ways,
     Gracious in all His works.
18 The LORD is near to all who call upon Him,
To all who call upon Him in truth.

Psalm 30:3-5 (NKJV)
 3 O LORD, You brought my soul up from the grave;
You have kept me alive, that I should not go down to
the pit.[a]
4 Sing praise to the LORD, you saints of His,
And give thanks at the remembrance of His holy
name.[b]
5 For His anger is but for a moment,
      His favor is for life;
Weeping may endure for a night,
But joy comes in the morning.

The heart felt testimony with every word dripping tears and
myrrh moved the hearts of the young believers. Now theya
re drawn to the Lord by her testimony. Theya re not scared
away by her tears, because of the same Holy Spirit in their
hearts.
Now she is truly confirmed into the image of Christ diffusing
His aroma!

There, draw me away, we may run after you (Song 1:4)! Every one of us is here today because of the Lord's suffering on the
Cross for redemption, also because of the prices paid by those wihin His Body, the church, who faithfully follow the Lord toda
My boss ten years ago prayed me into that position and held a Bible study group at work, where she eventually got laid off. S
introduced me to Shoreline Christian Center, where I learned the power in true worship, and the Lord gave me mentors when
did not know how to be a mentee. . A few years back, for a couple of nights I woke up in the middle of night feeling darkness
pressing in upon me. In the midst of that , Juanita Bynum's prayers broke in. I am sure she did not know what and whom she
was praying for. She prayed with all her might because of a burden placed on her shoulder. Knowing that spiritual warfare is
indeed life and death and casualty is before our very eyes, can we still sit around on somebody else's shoulder, crying "give m
and give me (You can fill in the blanks) all day long, letting a few carry the burden of many and teach the others to do the
same? Don't let ourselves be fooled into thinking we are all going to Heaven and receive a reward. We all have to give an
account!

Now that her testimony is complete, and her suffering
achieved its purpose, suddenly her eyes are openned by the
Holy Spirit. Her beloved never left her. He is indeed in the
garden of her heart gathering spices, because He has
chosen her as a vessel of honor.

Through her. The testimony she gave is indeed the flow of
the Life inside of her and inspired by the Holy Spirit!
Those daughters of Jerusalem stirred up by her testimony of
the Lord are indeed like precious lillies with the very nature
and aroma of the Lord Himself!

Now she renews her devotion to her Lord at yet a new
level. In her spiritual journey, she is increasingly losing
herslelf and being confirmed to the Lord. Before, it is more
about her, but now it is more about the Lord.

Tirzah: one time the capital of Israel (1 Kings 15:33).
Jerusalem: city of the Great King. Both Tirza and Jarusalem
are where the king's palaces are, symbolic her closeness to
the King of kings, Lord of lords.

The Lord truly rejoices over her! Now He is comparing her
to Himself. She is now not only beautiful to behold, but she
has learned to walk in the Heavenly spiritual authority, with
power to trample the snakes and scorpions! Such is the
victorious church and bride of the Lamb!

Revelation 3:7-13 (NKJV)
7 “And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write,
‘These things says He who is holy, He who is true, “He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts a
no one opens”:[a] 8 “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it;[b] for you have a lit
strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name. 9 Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say
they are Jews and are not, but lie—indeed I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have love
you. 10 Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon t
whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. 11 Behold,[c] I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one m
take your crown. 12 He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will
write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven
from My God. And I will write on him My new name.
13 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”’
Faith moves the Lord's heart. Not the kind of faith that says
give me whatever I want or I will stand forever! Hebrews 11
is reserved for those tht denied themselves, yielded to the
will of God under every circumstance, and carried the cross.
Psalm 39:9 (NKJV)
9 I was mute, I did not open my mouth,
Because it was You who did it.

This is a repetition of praises as in Chapter 4. She went
around the same mountain of disobedience for the second
time and came through. Last time she almost died a
spiritual death if the Lord did not come to rescue. This time
she overcame by the grace of God. She conquored new
spiritual heights.

Cloud of witness, each one has a reward according to
his/her faithfulness.

So who is the Shulamite? Everyone of us is called to be the
bride of the Lamb, mold and transformed into the image of
Christ and become mature sons and daughters and joint
heirs of Christ. May we all strive to live a life pleasing unto
the Lord, Who shed His Blood on the Cross for our sins.
The shadow is gone. Now she shines forth His Light, even
though not the full light yet, but she understands it is not
about her, but all about Jesus, her beloved. When His
Kingdom is established on earth and the devil is trampled
under His feet, then all of us in Him will have everlasting joy.

Reflecting the glory of God. If before she liked to openly display her beauty and receive the praises of men, now she only fix h
gaze upon the Lord. Father, help us all to see the true freedom in carrying your yoke and take Your burden. Set us free from t
bondage of the man-pleasing spirit, so we will run after You with our shole heart. May we be truly a beacon of light shining fo
Your glory in this world. In Jesus' Name we pray, amen!

Without shadow, or stench of the world, just like the Lord.

Kingdom power and authority in the Lord.

Nuts: hardened hearts. She does not dwell in yesterday's victory, but in all diligence she goes back to work. Catholic Church
understands that we are the hands and feet of the Lord and without those faithfully following Him and doing His will He has n
Hands and Feet to move in this world. Grace is extended from God through His body today.
What is the good of suffering if we don't ever learn our lessons? All things work together for good only for those who are
seeking the Lord and pursuing His Kingdom, but for those that are under deception and disobedience, suffering is the wrath o
God, and unless we repent and turn around, there is nothing good except perishing. If indeed those watching others perish w
hear the truth that should come from those who are called to speak Truth, then they may come to repentance by the
quickening of the Spirit and be saved. But if we do not repent, the deceivers will perish with the deceived, and bearing their
iniquities, too.
Has there indeed fruition in her labor? Has the rain come
that will bring a harvest? Her heart is knitted together with
the Lord's, now her mind is focused on the Kingdom
matters. Truly a faithful servant of God mindful of the
Father's business.

Now,she is not looking to see how manny people come to
her church or hear her message, or how manyoutreaches
she has, or what an important minister she is in men's eyes,
no, but she cares of the fruit os the spiritual life. I don't see
the size of ministry, teh building, the attendance listed with
peace, love, and joy. Kingdom of God is a heart issue.

Psalm 126:5-6 (NKJV)
5 Those who sow in tears
     Shall reap in joy.
6 He who continually goes forth weeping,
     Bearing seed for sowing,
Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing,
     Bringing his sheaves with him.

I am not sure why the Lord will want her return, I believe
this is the people who have been blessed by her ministry.
But popularity can be a serious trap which truly I secretly
celeberate that this is one battle I do not have to fight (sorry
for all those popular ministers out there), like the southern
wind. Have to be faithful to follow the Lord and don't
stumble before men's praises. You can overcome.

Philip has a successful ministry in Samaria, but upon the
calling of the angel of God, he left all behind and went to
the desert.
Obviously she does not return upon request of men,
otherwise the Lord would not have been praising her fee in
sandals!

Psalm 45
6 Your throne, O God, is forever and ever;
A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your
kingdom.
 7 You love righteousness and hate wickedness;
Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You
With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.
8 All Your garments are scented with myrrh and aloes and
cassia,
Out of the ivory palaces, by which they have made You
glad.
 9 Kings’ daughters are among Your honorable women;
At Your right hand stands the queen in gold from
Ophir.

1 Peter 2:4-6 (NKJV)
4 Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, 5 you also, as living stones, ar
being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 6
Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture,
“ Behold, I lay in Zion
   A chief cornerstone, elect, precious,
And he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame.”[a]
Ephesians 2:10
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in
them.

Blended beverage with all kinds of nutrients for the growth
of our spiritual life. Rounded goblet: capacity to receive and
hold.

Wheat: fruit of labor; lilies: with honor and purity. Symbolic
of a life in the fullness of the Lord.
Her strrength and maturity are built up in the progression. The Lord praised her for her faith and love in chapter 4 after a nea
spiritual death; Her neck was like a tower of David (Song 4:4) full of power, but now is like an ivory tower, after death in herse
and the works of the Holy Spirit. Eyes are like pools filled with love!

Nose like tower of Lebnon: spiritual discernment.

Mount Carmel: who can forget the great victory against
Baal on Carmel through the prophet Eliajah!

This is the first time the Lord said she is pleasant! She
started from being fair, then by offering up her life she
enter into the marriage covenant. The Lord praised her for
her love (Song 4:4). In the zeal of her love, she probably did
quite some good works in her flesh accroding to her own
understanding but now she has entered into the whole
'oneness' with the Lord. After much brokenness and works
of the Holy Spirit in her heart, she now seeks His way and
works accroding to His will, led by the Holy Spirit. Therefore,
her life and ministry become pleasant to the Lord without
the stench of the flesh! She has crossed over and entered
into rest.
Sacrifice of obedience.

Now her body truly become the temple of the Holy Spirit!
He can reign and rule in her heart and use her for the
Kingdom of God like never before!

More than just two fawns (Song 4:4), but many many fruits.

Stretch out like rods and rule over nations!

Kingdom ruling power rests on the obedient hearts of God's
children!

Isaiah 11: 10“ And in that day there shall be a Root of
Jesse,
    Who shall stand as a banner to the people;
For the Gentiles shall seek Him,
And His resting place shall be glorious.”
11 It shall come to pass in that day
That the Lord shall set His hand again the second time
To recover the remnant of His people who are left,
Father, help us, Your people today to learn the power in love and obedience to Your voice. May we truly be united as one in
Your Spirit and under Your Name. May Your Kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. We bless You! W
glorify You! We adore You! Blessed is He who came in the Name of the Lord! In Jesus Name we pray, Amen!

Oneness. The Lord takes her body now as His, because He
rules in her heart. The shulamite is each and everyone of us
in Him, but also together as one, his church, the bride of the
Lamb.

Sleepers: virgins fell asleep, whose love groew cold because
of lawlessness. Such ones should be restored with
gentleness.

She copped off the part that says my beloved is mine! She is
now loving the Lord with all her heart, her mind, and her
strength with no thought of herself!
Field of labor. In chapter 6, she took off to work, leaving her
beloved behind (Song 6:13), now she will not do anything or
go anywhere without her love. Without the Lord with us,
we will never have rest in our hearts.

Exodus 33:14-16 (NKJV)
14 And He said, “My Presence will go with you, and I will
give you rest.”
15 Then he said to Him, “If Your Presence does not go with
us, do not bring us up from here. 16 For how then will it be
known that Your people and I have found grace in Your
sight, except You go with us? So we shall be separate, Your
people and I, from all the people who are upon the face of
the earth.”

It is no palace. The path is difficult. There will be cross and
suffering.

Early: diligence, zeal, no luke-warmness.

Harvest field.

Build the house on love, build on Christ, the Word of God.
1 Corinthians 3:9-15 (NKJV)
9 For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building. 10 According to the grace of God which was
given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he
builds on it. 11 For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if anyone builds o
this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13 each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will
declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. 14 If anyone’s work whic
he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. 15 If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be
saved, yet so as through fire.
For generations the Jews prayed and waited for their
Messiah. They probably imagined someone spectacular,
performing miracles and wonders to deliver them from
suffering of the present life. Instead they got Jesus. He has
every power to do what they want Him to do, but He went
on the Cross.

John Sung is one of the first generation native Chinese evagelists. He was born shortly after the Boxers killed many foreign
missionaries in China in 1900. He came to the States and received a PHD in chemistry. On the way back to China, he dedicate
his life to serve the Lord. He was a great revivalist carrying a powerful healing anointing. But he preached only the message o
repentance and love in Jesus Christ. During world war II, he traveled sometimes on top of the train, which was overly crowde
with refugees, to preach as the Lord led him. One night he went to a missionary's house seeking for lodging. The missionary
couple did not know he was the guest. They did not want to get out of bed and made him sleep with their gate keeper. He
served the Lord with a severe haemorrhoids on his own body, but I did not read in his diary praying healing for himself. He die
age 41. His daughter went to prison in China for her faith. Today, Chinese Christians admire and are inspried by his life's
testimony. No one despises him for his suffering. I am sure he is now in the glory of Christ before His throne.

Kiss: expression of love.
1 John 3:16-18 (NKJV)
16 By this we know love, because He laid down His life for
us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the
brethren. 17 But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees
his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how
does the love of God abide in him?
18 My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue,
but in deed and in truth.

The secret place of her heart. In Chapter 3, she took Him to her mother's house for her own satisfaction. Now she invites Him
her heart for an offering of love unto Him.

A renewed vow of offering of her life unto the Lord. Now a
life in full maturity with love and much fruition, like a sweet
aroma unto the Lord. This offering of prayer will reach
directly to the Throne like a fragrance offering of Jesus.
Abiding in love and oneness.

Now the Lord finds rest in her heart.

Do we truly love the Lord and are we ready for His return
individually and corporately? I know when in the process of
doing this study, I have been challenged each and everyday
about my own faith walk with Him in every aspect of my
life, the money, the job, the retirement, the family the
kids... The list goes on and on. When I wrote that I did not
have to fight the men-pleasing spirit, the same day
temptation came to me and I stumbled. I may have an easy
job, but there have been many days I struggled performing
the simplest task. Without the grace of God, we can do
nothing.

Psalm 91
1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.”

1 Corinthians 13
1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels,
but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a
clanging cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy,
and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though
I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have
not love, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods
to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be
burned,[a] but have not love, it profits me nothing.
I heard another Chinese sister teaching about this verse as the Shulamite speaking to her beloved. Now she has so joined with
the Lord in heart and mnd, she now concerns about young believer's spiritual life not matured in faith and love. How is she
going to face the Lord when He comes back?

Therefore, she is dedicating her life to be fellow workers
alongside the Lord, to build her up and prepare her for the
Day.
1 Corinthians 3:9 (NKJV)
9 For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you
are God’s building.

She is again offering up her service unto the Lord to be a
channel of blessing.

Matthew 5
1 And seeing the multitudes, He went up on a mountain,
and when He was seated His disciples came to Him. 2 Then
He opened His mouth and taught them, saying:
3“ Blessed are the poor in spirit,
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 Blessed are those who mourn,
For they shall be comforted.
    5 Blessed are the meek,
For they shall inherit the earth.
6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for
righteousness,
For they shall be filled.
Matthew 21:33-37 (NKJV)
33 “Hear another parable: There was a certain landowner
who planted a vineyard and set a hedge around it, dug a
winepress in it and built a tower. And he leased it to
vinedressers and went into a far country. 34 Now when
vintage-time drew near, he sent his servants to the
vinedressers, that they might receive its fruit. 35 And the
vinedressers took his servants, beat one, killed one, and
stoned another. 36 Again he sent other servants, more than
the first, and they did likewise to them. 37 Then last of all
he sent his son to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’

John 15
1 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2
Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes
away;[a] and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it
may bear more fruit. 3 You are already clean because of the
word which I have spoken to you. 4 Abide in Me, and I in
you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it
abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

Love just because of love, not love to get money or whatever. It would have been like a gold digger marrying a rich man/wom
for the money. In the spiritual sense, this is called idolatry and witchcraft.
Mark 12:29-31 (NKJV)
29 Jesus answered him, “The first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is one. 30 And yo
shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’[a] This is th
first commandment.[b] 31 And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’[c] There is no other
commandment greater than these.”

Song 1 is full of Shulamite's talk when she started the
journey and eandering quite bit along the way. The Lord
only responded to her after she went through some
suffering and inquired Him of the Way. And in the end,
praised her for her 'dove's eyes', the development in her
spiritual life. Song 8 finishes with all her talking as well, but
a totally different level. If she was full of herslef before, now
she is full of her love and all baout the Father's business.
Her love has matured and now she has prepared herself for
the Bridgrroom. Therefore, the Lord only responded with a
request for her prayer, knowing that it will be according to
His perfect will.
May the Church grow to this level of maturity and we truly
become holy and without blemish in our own hearts so we
can be instruments for the preparation of His bride, which is
the church, for His glorious return. This will be a life long
journey. My we all strive to become oversomers in Christ
Jesus. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen!

d Righteous Name. Lord, Your Kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Oh, Father, have mercy on us and on the whol
r transgressions, cleanse us of all our iniquities. Grant us repentance in Your only begotten Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We love
our hearts to receive Your grace. Open our eyes to see Your Face, and touch our ears to hear Your voice. Above all, Lord, we ask that You
nd spirit of humility to follow You, to live our lives each and everyday for You. May Your glory fill up the universe and Your love overflow in
to do Your works, and cleanse our hearts. Fill us up withou Your Spirit. May our hearts become a dwelling place, a Holy temple for You. M
he world. Halleluiah! Let all creation bow down to You and everything with breath praise You!May we be pleasing unto You and we live in

Song of Solomon 8:6-7 (NKJV)
6 Set me as a seal upon your heart,
   As a seal upon your arm;
For love is as strong as death,
Jealousy as cruel as the grave;[a]
Its flames are flames of fire,
   A most vehement flame.[b]
7 Many waters cannot quench love,
Nor can the floods drown it.
If a man would give for love
All the wealth of his house,
   It would be utterly despised.

3 He has put a new song in my mouth—
    Praise to our God;
Many will see it and fear,
And will trust in the LORD.

4 Blessed is that man who makes the LORD his trust,
And does not respect the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.
5 Many, O LORD my God, are Your wonderful works
     Which You have done;
     And Your thoughts toward us
     Cannot be recounted to You in order;
If I would declare and speak of them,
They are more than can be numbered.
John 6:50-58 (NKJV)
50 This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may
eat of it and not die. 51 I am the living bread which came down
from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and
the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life
of the world.”
52 The Jews therefore quarreled among themselves, saying, “How
can this Man give us His flesh to eat?”
53 Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless
you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have
no life in you. 54 Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has
eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. 55 For My flesh
is food indeed,[a] and My blood is drink indeed. 56 He who eats
My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. 57 As the
living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who
feeds on Me will live because of Me. 58 This is the bread which
came down from heaven—not as your fathers ate the manna, and
are dead. He who eats this bread will live forever.”

Ephesians 5
1 Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. 2 And walk in
love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an
offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.

Romans 14:11-13 (NKJV)
11 For it is written:
“ As I live, says the LORD,
Every knee shall bow to Me,
And every tongue shall confess to God.”
12 So then each of us shall give account of himself to God. 13
Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather
resolve this, not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall in our
brother’s way.
            Psalm 45:10-15 (NKJV)
             10 Listen, O daughter,
                  Consider and incline your ear;
                  Forget your own people also, and your father’s house;
             11 So the King will greatly desire your beauty;
Because He is your Lord, worship Him.
             12 And the daughter of Tyre will come with a gift;
The rich among the people will seek your favor.
             13 The royal daughter is all glorious within the palace;
Her clothing is woven with gold.
             14 She shall be brought to the King in robes of many colors;
The virgins, her companions who follow her, shall be brought
            to You.
             15 With gladness and rejoicing they shall be brought;
They shall enter the King’s palace.

18 And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers,
Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the
sea; for they were fishermen. 19 Then He said to them, “Follow
Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” 20 They immediately left
            their nets and followed Him.

            Luke 11:9-13 (NKJV)
9 “So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you
will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who
asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it
will be opened. 11 If a son asks for bread[a] from any father among
you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give
him a serpent instead of a fish? 12 Or if he asks for an egg, will he
offer him a scorpion? 13 If you then, being evil, know how to give
good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly
Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”
             Matthew 7:13-14 (NKJV)
13 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the
way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.
14 Because[a] narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which

             John 3:29-31 (NKJV)

the bridegroom’s voice. Therefore this joy of mine is fulfilled. 30
He must increase, but I must decrease. 31 He who comes from

“Simon, son of Jonah,[a] do you love Me more than these?”
He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.”
He said to him, “Feed My lambs.”
16 He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of Jonah,[b] do

He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.”
He said to him, “Tend My sheep.”
17 He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah,[c] do you

that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with
exceeding joy. 14 If you are reproached for the name of Christ,
blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon

oil of spikenard. Then she broke the flask and poured it on His

Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness,
not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. 14 But put on the
Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its

3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler[a]
    And from the perilous pestilence.
4 He shall cover you with His feathers,
    And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
2 Samuel 23:3-4 (NKJV)
3 The God of Israel said,
The Rock of Israel spoke to me:
‘He who rules over men must be just,
Ruling in the fear of God.
4 And he shall be like the light of the morning when the sun rises,
   A morning without clouds,
Like the tender grass springing out of the earth,
   By clear shining after rain.’

1 Peter 4:7-11 (NKJV)
7 But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and
watchful in your prayers. 8 And above all things have fervent love
for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.”[a] 9 Be
hospitable to one another without grumbling. 10 As each one has
received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the
manifold grace of God. 11 If anyone speaks, let him speak as the
oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability
which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through
Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever
and ever. Amen.

Genesis 3
1 Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field
which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has
God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?”

4 Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. 5
For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be
opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

John 15
1 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every
branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away;[a] and every
branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 3
You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to
you. 4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of
itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide
in Me.
Psalm 84
1 How lovely is Your tabernacle,
      O LORD of hosts!
2 My soul longs, yes, even faints
      For the courts of the LORD;
My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.
3 Even the sparrow has found a home,
And the swallow a nest for herself,
Where she may lay her young—
Even Your altars, O LORD of hosts,
      My King and my God.
 4 Blessed are those who dwell in Your house;
They will still be praising You. Selah
Psalm 18:2
The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God,
my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my
salvation, my stronghold.

1 Corinthians 15:58
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always
abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not
in vain in the Lord.

Luke 15:5-7 (NKJV)
5 And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. 6
And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and
neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my
sheep which was lost!’ 7 I say to you that likewise there will be
more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-
nine just persons who need no repentance.

Luke 18:22
So when Jesus heard these things, He said to him, “You still lack
one thing. Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and you
will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”

Hebrews 12
1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud
of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so
easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is
set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our
faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross,
despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the
throne of God.
           1 Peter 2:5-6 (NKJV)
5 you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a
holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God
through Jesus Christ. 6 Therefore it is also contained in the
           Scripture,
“ Behold, I lay in Zion
               A chief cornerstone, elect, precious,
And he who believes on Him will by no means be put to
           shame.”

           Song of Solomon 1:2
Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth— For your love is
           better than wine.
           Psalm 34:8-10 (NKJV)
            8 Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good;
Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!
9 Oh, fear the LORD, you His saints!
There is no want to those who fear Him.
            10 The young lions lack and suffer hunger;
But those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing.
Deuteronomy 1:33New King James Version (NKJV)
33 who went in the way before you to search out a place for you

           Luke 8:23-24 (NKJV)
23 But as they sailed He fell asleep. And a windstorm came down
on the lake, and they were filling with water, and were in jeopardy.
24 And they came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Master,
           Master, we are perishing!”
Then He arose and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water.
And they ceased, and there was a calm.
           Luke 8:25 (NKJV)
25 But He said to them, “Where is your faith?”
And they were afraid, and marveled, saying to one another, “Who
can this be? For He commands even the winds and water, and they
           obey Him!”
Psalm 127
1 Unless the LORD builds the house,
      They labor in vain who build it;
Unless the LORD guards the city,
The watchman stays awake in vain.
2 It is vain for you to rise up early,
      To sit up late,
      To eat the bread of sorrows;
For so He gives His beloved sleep.
1 Timothy 3:14-16 (NKJV)
14 These things I write to you, though I hope to come to you
shortly; 15 but if I am delayed, I write so that you may know how
you ought to conduct yourself in the house of God, which is the
church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth. 16 And
without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God[a] was manifested in the flesh,
    Justified in the Spirit,
    Seen by angels,
    Preached among the Gentiles,
    Believed on in the world,
    Received up in glory.
Romans 15
1 We then who are strong ought to bear with the scruples of the
weak, and not to please ourselves. 2 Let each of us please his
neighbor for his good, leading to edification. 3 For even Christ did
not please Himself; but as it is written, “The reproaches of those
who reproached You fell on Me.”

John 14:15-17 (NKJV)
15 “If you love Me, keep[a] My commandments. 16 And I will pray
the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide
with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot
receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know
Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.

Matthew 16:24
Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after
Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.
Luke 9:23
Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let
him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.

Psalm 136
1 Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good!
     For His mercy endures forever.
2 Oh, give thanks to the God of gods!
     For His mercy endures forever.
3 Oh, give thanks to the Lord of lords!
     For His mercy endures forever:

Psalm 45:10-12 (NKJV)
10 Listen, O daughter,
     Consider and incline your ear;
     Forget your own people also, and your father’s house;
11 So the King will greatly desire your beauty;
Because He is your Lord, worship Him.
12 And the daughter of Tyre will come with a gift;
The rich among the people will seek your favor.

John 17:14-19 (NKJV)
14 I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them
because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 15
I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that
You should keep them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the
world, just as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them by Your
truth. Your word is truth. 18 As You sent Me into the world, I also
have sent them into the world. 19 And for their sakes I sanctify
Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth.
2 Peter 2:19-21 (NKJV)
19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of
corruption; for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is
brought into bondage. 20 For if, after they have escaped the
pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and
Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and
overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. 21
For it would have been better for them not to have known the way
of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy
commandment delivered to them.

1 John 2:4-6 (NKJV)
4 He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His
commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But
whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him.
By this we know that we are in Him. 6 He who says he abides in
Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.

Deuteronomy 5:15 (NKJV)
15 And remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and
the LORD your God brought you out from there by a mighty hand
and by an outstretched arm; therefore the LORD your God
commanded you to keep the Sabbath day.

John 5:28-31 (NKJV)
28 Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who
are in the graves will hear His voice 29 and come forth—those who
have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have
done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation. 30 I can of Myself
do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous,
because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who
sent Me.
            2 Corinthians 2:14-16 (NKJV)
14 Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ,
and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every
place. 15 For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those
who are being saved and among those who are perishing. 16 To
the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the
other the aroma of life leading to life. And who is sufficient for
            these things?

            Revelation 3:17-19 (NKJV)
17 Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have
need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched,
miserable, poor, blind, and naked— 18 I counsel you to buy from
Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white
garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your
nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye
salve, that you may see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and
chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.
            Psalm 99
Praise to the LORD for His Holiness
            1 The LORD reigns;
                 Let the peoples tremble!
                 He dwells between the cherubim;
                 Let the earth be moved!
2 The LORD is great in Zion,
And He is high above all the peoples.
3 Let them praise Your great and awesome name—
                 He is holy.
Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”
9 And He said, “Go, and tell this people:
               ‘ Keep on hearing, but do not understand;
Keep on seeing, but do not perceive.’
10 “ Make the heart of this people dull,
               And their ears heavy,
               And shut their eyes;
Lest they see with their eyes,
               And hear with their ears,
               And understand with their heart,
               And return and be healed.”

lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience. 12 For the
han any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and
oughts and intents of the heart. 13 And there is no creature hidden from His

2 Peter 1:5-11 (NKJV)
5 But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith
virtue, to virtue knowledge, 6 to knowledge self-control, to self-
control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, 7 to godliness
brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. 8 For if these
things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor
unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 For he who
lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has
forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.
10 Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call
and election sure, for if you do these things you will never
stumble; 11 for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly
into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Isaiah 2:12-14 (NKJV)
12 For the day of the LORD of hosts
Shall come upon everything proud and lofty,
    Upon everything lifted up—
And it shall be brought low—
13 Upon all the cedars of Lebanon that are high and lifted up,
    And upon all the oaks of Bashan;
14 Upon all the high mountains,
    And upon all the hills that are lifted up;
John 12:32
And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to
Myself.”
1 Timothy 2:8
I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy
hands, without wrath and doubting;

John 16:12-14 (NKJV)
12 “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear
them now. 13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He
will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own
authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you
things to come. 14 He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is
Mine and declare it to you.
            Galatians 4:28-31 (NKJV)
28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of promise. 29
But, as he who was born according to the flesh then persecuted
him who was born according to the Spirit, even so it is now. 30
Nevertheless what does the Scripture say? “Cast out the
bondwoman and her son, for the son of the bondwoman shall not
be heir with the son of the freewoman.”[a] 31 So then, brethren,
we are not children of the bondwoman but of the free.
            Revelation 19:12-14 (NKJV)
12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many
crowns. He had[a] a name written that no one knew except
Himself. 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His
name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies in heaven,
clothed in fine linen, white and clean,[b] followed Him on white
            horses.

            Luke 1:46-50 (NKJV)
             46 And Mary said:
“ My soul magnifies the Lord,
47 And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior.
                 48 For He has regarded the lowly state of His maidservant;
For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed.
49 For He who is mighty has done great things for me,
                And holy is His name.
50 And His mercy is on those who fear Him

            Psalm 78:15-16 (NKJV)
15 He split the rocks in the wilderness,
And gave them drink in abundance like the depths.
16 He also brought streams out of the rock,
And caused waters to run down like rivers.
Judges 16 (NKJV)
19 Then she lulled him to sleep on her knees, and called for a man
and had him shave off the seven locks of his head. Then she began
to torment him,[a] and his strength left him.
22 However, the hair of his head began to grow again after it had
been shaven.

Numbers 32:29
And Moses said to them: “If the children of Gad and the children
of Reuben cross over the Jordan with you, every man armed for
battle before the LORD, and the land is subdued before you, then
you shall give them the land of Gilead as a possession.

Psalm 119:147-149 (NKJV)
147 I rise before the dawning of the morning,
     And cry for help;
     I hope in Your word.
148 My eyes are awake through the night watches,
That I may meditate on Your word.
149 Hear my voice according to Your lovingkindness;
O LORD, revive me according to Your justice.
Ephesians 5:25-27 (NKJV)
25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church
and gave Himself for her, 26 that He might sanctify and cleanse her
with the washing of water by the word, 27 that He might present
her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any
such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.

Romans 7:4-5 (NKJV)
4 Therefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law
through the body of Christ, that you may be married to
another—to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should
bear fruit to God. 5 For when we were in the flesh, the sinful
passions which were aroused by the law were at work in our
members to bear fruit to death.

1 Thessalonians 2:13-14 (NKJV)
13 For this reason we also thank God without ceasing, because
when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you
welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word
of God, which also effectively works in you who believe. 14 For
you, brethren, became imitators of the churches of God which are
in Judea in Christ Jesus. For you also suffered the same things from
your own countrymen, just as they did from the Judeans,
Psalm 12:2-6 (NKJV)
2 They speak idly everyone with his neighbor;
With flattering lips and a double heart they speak.
3 May the LORD cut off all flattering lips,
And the tongue that speaks proud things,
4 Who have said,
     “With our tongue we will prevail;
     Our lips are our own;
     Who is lord over us?”
5 “For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy,
     Now I will arise,” says the LORD;
“I will set him in the safety for which he yearns.”
6 The words of the LORD are pure words,
Like silver tried in a furnace of earth,
     Purified seven times.
Hosea 14
Israel Restored at Last
1 O Israel, return to the LORD your God,
    For you have stumbled because of your iniquity;
     2 Take words with you,
    And return to the LORD.
    Say to Him,
    “ Take away all iniquity;
    Receive us graciously,
For we will offer the sacrifices[a] of our lips.
3 Assyria shall not save us,
We will not ride on horses,
Nor will we say anymore to the work of our hands, ‘You are our
gods.’
For in You the fatherless finds mercy.”

2 Corinthians 4:3-5 (NKJV)
3 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are
perishing, 4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do
not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is
the image of God, should shine on them. 5 For we do not preach
ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your
bondservants for Jesus’ sake.

Romans 8:13-15(NKJV)
13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the
Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. 14 For
as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. 15
For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you
received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba,
Father.”
Micah 4:7-8 (NKJV)
7 I will make the lame a remnant,
    And the outcast a strong nation;
So the LORD will reign over them in Mount Zion
    From now on, even forever.
8 And you, O tower of the flock,
The stronghold of the daughter of Zion,
    To you shall it come,
Even the former dominion shall come,
The kingdom of the daughter of Jerusalem.”

11 “ As for you also,
Because of the blood of your covenant,
I will set your prisoners free from the waterless pit.
    12 Return to the stronghold,
   You prisoners of hope.
   Even today I declare
That I will restore double to you.

23.Ephesians 6:14
Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on
the breastplate of righteousness,
24.1 Thessalonians 5:8
But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate
of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation.
Song of Solomon 2:16 (NKJV)
16 My beloved is mine, and I am his.
He feeds his flock among the lilies.

Song of Solomon 2:17 (NKJV)
  17 Until the day breaks
   And the shadows flee away,
  Turn, my beloved,
   And be like a gazelle
   Or a young stag
   Upon the mountains of Bether.[a]
Song of Solomon 2:17 (NKJV)
  17 Until the day breaks
   And the shadows flee away,
  Turn, my beloved,
   And be like a gazelle
   Or a young stag
   Upon the mountains of Bether.[a]

1 Timothy 6:11-14 (NKJV)
11 But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue
righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness. 12 Fight
the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were
also called and have confessed the good confession in the
presence of many witnesses. 13 I urge you in the sight of God who
gives life to all things, and before Christ Jesus who witnessed the
good confession before Pontius Pilate, 14 that you keep this
commandment without spot, blameless until our Lord Jesus
Christ’s appearing,

Philippians 3:18-20 (NKJV)
18 For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you
even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: 19
whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose
glory is in their shame—who set their mind on earthly things. 20
For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait
for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,
Ephesians 5:30-32 (NKJV)
30 For we are members of His body,[a] of His flesh and of His
bones. 31 “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother
and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.”[b]
32 This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the
church.
Ruth 1:16-17 (NKJV)
16 But Ruth said:
“ Entreat me not to leave you,
    Or to turn back from following after you;
    For wherever you go, I will go;
    And wherever you lodge, I will lodge;
Your people shall be my people,
    And your God, my God.
17 Where you die, I will die,
And there will I be buried.
The LORD do so to me, and more also,
If anything but death parts you and me.”
             Ephesians 6:11-13 (NKJV)
11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand
against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against
flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against
the rulers of the darkness of this age,[a] against spiritual hosts of
wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole
armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day,
and having done all, to stand.

             1 John 5
1 Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and
everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is
begotten of Him. 2 By this we know that we love the children of
God, when we love God and keep His commandments. 3 For this is
the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His
             commandments are not burdensome.

             Philippians 1:8-11 (NKJV)
8 For God is my witness, how greatly I long for you all with the
             affection of Jesus Christ.
9 And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in
knowledge and all discernment, 10 that you may approve the
things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without
offense till the day of Christ, 11 being filled with the fruits of
righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of
             God.

             Song of Solomon 1:2-3 (NKJV)
2 Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth—
For your[b] love is better than wine.
3 Because of the fragrance of your good ointments,
  Your name is ointment poured forth;
  Therefore the virgins love you.

2 Timothy 4
1 I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ,
who will judge the living and the dead at[a] His appearing and His
kingdom: 2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of
season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and
teaching. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure
sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they
have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and
they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside
to fables. 5 But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do
the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

Psalm 119:102-104 (NKJV)
102 I have not departed from Your judgments,
For You Yourself have taught me.
103 How sweet are Your words to my taste,
Sweeter than honey to my mouth!
104 Through Your precepts I get understanding;
Therefore I hate every false way.
Psalm 119:89-91 (NKJV)
89 Forever, O LORD,
Your word is settled in heaven.
90 Your faithfulness endures to all generations;
You established the earth, and it abides.
91 They continue this day according to Your ordinances,
     For all are Your servants.
Matthew 26:38 Then He said to them, “My soul is exceedingly
sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch with Me.”
39 He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying,
“O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me;
nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.”
42 Again, a second time, He went away and prayed, saying, “O My
Father, if this cup cannot pass away from Me unless[e] I drink it,
Your will be done.”
44 So He left them, went away again, and prayed the third time,
saying the same words.

John 16:7-11 (NKJV)
7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go
away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but
if I depart, I will send Him to you. 8 And when He has come, He will
convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9
of sin, because they do not believe in Me; 10 of righteousness,
because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; 11 of
judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.

Song of Solomon 2:15 (NKJV)
  15 Catch us the foxes,
The little foxes that spoil the vines,
For our vines have tender grapes.
Philippians 4:6-8 (NKJV)
6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and
supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known
to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding,
will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are
noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure,
whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if
there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate
on these things.
            Amos 9:14 I will bring back the captives of My people Israel;
              They shall build the waste cities and inhabit them;
              They shall plant vineyards and drink wine from them;
They shall also make gardens and eat fruit from them.
15 I will plant them in their land,
And no longer shall they be pulled up
From the land I have given them,”
              Says the LORD your God.

            2 Corinthians 2:14-15 (NKJV)
14 Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ,

            2 Chronicles 32:6-8 (NKJV)
6 Then he set military captains over the people, gathered them
together to him in the open square of the city gate, and gave them
encouragement, saying, 7 “Be strong and courageous; do not be

strengthened by the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.
Revelation 3:7-12 (NKJV)
7 “And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write,

have kept My word, and have not denied My name. 9 Indeed I will
make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and
are not, but lie—indeed I will make them come and worship before
your feet, and to know that I have loved you. 10 Because you have
kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour
of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who
dwell on the earth. 11 Behold,[c] I am coming quickly! Hold fast
what you have, that no one may take your crown. 12 He who
overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and
he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God
and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which
comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him
My new name.
Zechariah 14:16 (NKJV)
16 And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the
nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to
year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the Feast
of Tabernacles.
Philippians 1:21-22 (NKJV)
21 For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. 22 But if I live on in
the flesh, this will mean fruit from my labor; yet what I shall
choose I cannot tell.

Judges 5 (NKJV)
1 Then Deborah and Barak the son of Abinoam sang on that day,
saying:
 2“When leaders lead in Israel,
When the people willingly offer themselves,
    Bless the LORD!
 3“Hear, O kings! Give ear, O princes!
    I, even I, will sing to the LORD;
I will sing praise to the LORD God of Israel.

            Romans 8:27-29 (NKJV)
27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the
Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to
            the will of God.
28 And we know that all things work together for good to those
who love God, to those who are the called according to His
purpose. 29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be
conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn
            among many brethren.
            James 1:16-18 (NKJV)
16 Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. 17 Every good gift
and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the
Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of
turning. 18 Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of
truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.

            Philippians 3:12-14 (NKJV)
12 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I
press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also
laid hold of me. 13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have
apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are
behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I
press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in
            Christ Jesus.

            Job 1
1 There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and
that man was blameless and upright, and one who feared God and
            shunned evil.
Job 1:6-10 (NKJV)
6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present
themselves before the LORD, and Satan[a] also came among them.
7 And the LORD said to Satan, “From where do you come?”
So Satan answered the LORD and said, “From going to and fro on
the earth, and from walking back and forth on it.”
8 Then the LORD said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant
Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and
upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?”
9 So Satan answered the LORD and said, “Does Job fear God for
nothing? 10 Have You not made a hedge around him, around his
household, and around all that he has on every side? You have
blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased
in the land.

 John 19:5

Philippians 2:5-8 (NKJV)
5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who,
being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal
with God, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of
a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being
found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became
obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.

Job 29:21-25 (NKJV)
21“Men listened to me and waited,
And kept silence for my counsel.
22 After my words they did not speak again,
And my speech settled on them as dew.
23 They waited for me as for the rain,
And they opened their mouth wide as for the spring rain.
24 If I mocked at them, they did not believe it,
And the light of my countenance they did not cast down.
 25 I chose the way for them, and sat as chief;
So I dwelt as a king in the army,
    As one who comforts mourners.
            Job 32
1 So these three men ceased answering Job, because he was
righteous in his own eyes. 2 Then the wrath of Elihu, the son of
            Barachel the Buzite, of the family of Ram, was aroused against Job;
his wrath was aroused because he justified himself rather than
God. 3 Also against his three friends his wrath was aroused,
because they had found no answer, and yet had condemned Job.

            Matthew 7:13-15 (NKJV)
13 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the
way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.

            Isaiah 63:7
I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the LORD And the praises of
the LORD, According to all that the LORD has bestowed on us, And
the great goodness toward the house of Israel, Which He has

5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation

consolation and salvation, which is effective for enduring the same

John 7:37-39 (NKJV)
37 On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and

Hebrews 4:14-16 (NKJV)
14 Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed
through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our
confession. 15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot
sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as
we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly to the
throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help
in time of need.

Luke 22:24-26 (NKJV)
24 Now there was also a dispute among them, as to which of them
should be considered the greatest. 25 And He said to them, “The
kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them, and those who
exercise authority over them are called ‘benefactors.’ 26 But not
so among you; on the contrary, he who is greatest among you, let
him be as the younger, and he who governs as he who serves.

things which He suffered. 9 And having been perfected, He became

            1 Peter 2:21-24 (NKJV)
21 For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for
us,[a] leaving us[b] an example, that you should follow His steps:
22 “ Who committed no sin,
Nor was deceit found in His mouth”;[c]
23 who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He
suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who
judges righteously; 24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body
on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for

            Isaiah 53:2-5 (NKJV)
2 For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant,
And as a root out of dry ground.
                He has no form or comeliness;
                And when we see Him,
There is no beauty that we should desire Him.
3 He is despised and rejected by men,
A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.
                And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him;
He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.
4 Surely He has borne our griefs
                And carried our sorrows;
                Yet we esteemed Him stricken,
                Smitten by God, and afflicted.
5 But He was wounded for our transgressions,
                He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,

2 For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant,
And as a root out of dry ground.
                 He has no form or comeliness;
                 And when we see Him,
There is no beauty that we should desire Him.

             Hebrews 10:5-7 (NKJV)
5 Therefore, when He came into the world, He said:
“ Sacrifice and offering You did not desire,
But a body You have prepared for Me.
6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin

7 Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come—
In the volume of the book it is written of Me—
To do Your will, O God.’”
1 John 1:5-7 (NKJV)
5 This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare
to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say
that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and
do not practice the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light as He is in
the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of
Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

John 15:4-6 (NKJV)
4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of
itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide
in Me.
5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I
in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. 6 If
anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is
withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and
they are burned.

3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler[a]
     And from the perilous pestilence.
4 He shall cover you with His feathers,
     And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.

            1 Peter 2:4-6 (NKJV)
4 Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but
chosen by God and precious, 5 you also, as living stones, are being
built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual
sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 6 Therefore it is
            also contained in the Scripture,
“ Behold, I lay in Zion
                A chief cornerstone, elect, precious,
And he who believes on Him will by no means be put to
            shame.”

                 7 Blessed are the merciful,
            For they shall obtain mercy.
8 Blessed are the pure in heart,
            For they shall see God.
                 9 Blessed are the peacemakers,
For they shall be called sons of God.
10 Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’
            sake,
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say
all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. 12 Rejoice and be
exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they
persecuted the prophets who were before you.
              1 Corinthians 1:22-24 (NKJV)
22 For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom; 23 but
we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to
