Bob Buck - Executive Director
April 12, 2010
Dear EAGA Members & Friends,
The Eastern Amputee Golf Association (EAGA) is very pleased to be able to bring a 2nd Annual Amputee
Golf Event to the Buffalo area. It will be hosted by Brierwood Country Club on July 5, 2010. The 2nd Annual
Buffalo Amputee Golf Classic is the idea of EAGA Member and new amputee, Peter Fenn. Peter is from Orchard
Park, NY and has been a member of the PGA and golf teacher for many years. Several years ago he had to have his
leg amputated below the knee. Since then he is working on getting back to teaching and now hosting an EAGA
Amputee Golf Tournament. This event will be a Four Ball style format with the amputees playing their own ball
for Gross & Net Prizes. We hope that this event will grow into a two day event in the future. We also hope that
you will choose to join us at the celebration of the great event by becoming a Sponsor to the Buffalo Amputee Golf
Classic
No one knows any better than an EAGA member just how valuable sincere support can be to an amputee.
Whether your amputation is new or from birth, whether you’re young or old, male or female, being an amputee can
be traumatic. Your support of our EAGA programs to assist amputees through golf is very important to their well
being.
Our EAGA members share their own experiences with new members and non-members showing that an
amputee can be a sports involved person. For new amputees, it may be learning how to continue golf, a game they
have already come to enjoy. For some amputees, it may be the opportunity to try something new and for others, it
may be the only game left for them.
That is why your support of the EAGA and its programs, like this year’s Buffalo Amputee Golf Classic, is
so vital. It will help us continue to prove that desire, determination and heart are what makes all the difference in
leading a full and rewarding life
Please come and join us as a Sponsor of our 2nd annual Buffalo Amputee Golf Classic. If you have any
questions about the Sponsorship Packages on the reverse, please contact Peter Fenn at pete@peterfenngolf.com or
716-652-5708.
Sincerely,
Bob Buck
