     Job Reporting Template for the home performance retrofit rebate program
      in Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) territory


Instructions for job reporting:
1. Locate the worksheet for the report you want to submit. Look for the tabs along the bottom of this page.
  > These tabs are organized by type of retrofit (BASIC, ADVANCED) and then by retrofit status (pre-retrofit, post-retrof
  > For example, if reporting a BASIC job pre-retrofit walkthrough, click on the tab at the botton labeled "BASIC (pre-re
  > NOTE: BASIC retrofits must comply with certain pre-retrofit and post-retrofit requirements, as summarized in the "B

2. Enter all the information requested on the worksheet. For more room, use the "notes for this job" row. Inc

3. Write "N/A" for each item that is not part of the existing home (existing home data section) or is not part
  > For ADVANCED retrofits, combustion appliance safety (if gas appliances present), blower door, and duct blaster test
  > For BASIC retrofits, the start and finish combustion appliance safety (in homes with gas appliances), blower door, an

4. Submit your jobs for confirmation/approval. You will need:
  > This Excel file (the Job Reporting Template), with the appropriate job data filled in. Save as SMUD_[CompanyName]
  > 12 months of utility bill energy data (can enter into this file or as a separate file)*
  > A copy of the energy simulation model (ADVANCED retrofits only)
  > OPTIONAL: you may also upload photos and custom reports provided to the clien; we will request this information la

5. Upload your pre-retrofit documentation to CBPCA using Vision
  > Instructions for viewing and uploading jobs to the Vision system are available on the CBPCA Energy Upgrade progra
  > Contact contractors@thecbpca.org if you need to be re-sent your Vision login information

6. Submitted reports will be reviewed to make sure they are complete and that the home/job scope qualifies
  > For pre-retrofit submissions, we will provide a "Notice to proceed in 72 hours" note for that job in the Vision system
  > For post-retrofit submissions, we will provide a "Rebate approved" note for that job in the Vision system

7. After the work is done, submit your post-retrofit report. Fill out the post-retrofit section of the same Excel
