Please share this scholarship opportunity with individuals that you think may be interested.
The General Hugh Shelton Leadership Center is pleased to offer for the 8th year a major 4-year
college scholarship. Each year one emerging student leader has been awarded a 4-year full
scholarship to North Carolina State University. Next year's winner could be from your
school! The mission of the Center, housed at N.C., is to "inspire, educate, and develop values-
based leaders who are committed to personal integrity, professional ethics, and selfless
service." The Leadership Center wants to identify and reward America's most outstanding high
school student leader. The scholarship is valued at $10,000 per year (and renewable), and
includes an annual $2,000 stipend for external leadership experiences such as study abroad.
The following website provides a description of the scholarship, the criteria and the application,
due by Nov. 1: http://www.ncsu.edu/extension/sheltonleadership/leadership-
