for Windows NT/2000/XP

1. First go to www.oracle.com click on the icon called downloads.

2. Once you have chosen the Downloads page find the DATABASE tab and click the Oracle 9i
Personal option.

3. At this point you will see a sign in page for Oracle Technology Page, if you have created a
login & password to view Oracle’s website, please do so now. If you have not created a free
account please do so with the option provided (sign up now).

4. Once you have logged in you will see this page please choose the appropriate option for your
operating system. For the purpose of this example the Oracle9i Database Enterprise/Standard/Personal
Edition for Windows NT/2000/XP version will be used.
5. After reading and accepting the terms and conditions from Oracle for use of their product,
please click the accept button.

6.You will then download the first 3 zipped files:
92010NT_Disk1.zip (612,802,971 bytes)
92010NT_Disk2.zip (537,604,934 bytes)
92010NT_Disk3.zip (254,458,106 bytes)
7. Follow these instructions:
A. Verify the file sizes listed on this page match to the downloaded files on your local
disk.
B. Create directories Disk1, Disk2 and Disk3.
C. cd to Disk 1 and unzip the 92010NT_Disk1.zip here.
D. repeat the above steps for Disk2 and Disk3.
E. After unzipping all the 3 disk in their respective directories, cd to Disk1 and run setup.exe to
start the installer.
8. You should now have 3 files unzipped and ready to be installed.
