Regarding Due Diligence Procedure: Whenever a client requests that a composition be based on, or in the style of a specific recorded example, I would require a Musicology clearance. If I receive a work tape, which includes a temp track that I am required to use as a musical guide, I would also submit my composition to a Musicologist for Clearance prior to air. My own original (WHAT) creations are always, to the best of my ability and experience as a professional and expert, original and based on Prior Art and non-copyrightable elements, but may be submitted to an outside party for clearance if there is any doubt as to their originality. There has never been any case brought against (THEM) with regards to copyright infringement. I have composed many commercial scores over the last ???? years, and I continue to be extremely sensitive to the issues of copyright infringement. I will always contact (YOU) if I move or change my contact information. I understand that (YOU), must be able to contact me at anytime.
