I too am a Seagull fan but have had a few bad 'knocks' along the way.
My A6's cedar top was split by my sons electric guitar when his strap broke
and his guitar fell on it.
That caused the bridge to separate which was more expensive than fixing the
split top. However the shop said they fix a lot of Seagull bridges so I was
a bit suspicious about that.

Re: Norman Guitars ?
Since then (two years) the guitar has been great except for the cheap tuners
they put on. The plastic knobs broke on two of the tuners, so I put on a new
set of tuners. I was not impressed with that.
Do I like the guitar? yes, very nice guitar.
Do I have some thoughts about quality? yes.
I also have a 3/4 size Simon and Patrick which I bought for my 10 year old.
It is a beautiful guitar, with a sound much bigger than its size.
