NSGV (BB-4) BALANCER SPECIFICATION
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The BB-4 Balancer is a cost effective means of raising flexible tubing to a safe working height when not
in use. The BB-4 balancer has a lifting capacity of 15 pounds and can be locked in a desired position. The BB-4 features an easy external
tension adjustment, as well as, an adjustable cable stop, snap hook, multi-directional guide and forged clevis top mount. The BB-4 has 15 feet of
cable with a slight pull releasing the lock, which allows the tubing to be repositioned very easily.

SUGGESTED SPECIFICATION
The BB-4 Balancer is constructed of a minimum 18 gauge, two-piece stamped steel housing with a 1” wide steel internal tension spring. The
balancer must have a ratchet lock mechanism to allow for positioning of tubing at a desired height.
- The balancer shall include a minimum 3/32ӯ stranded galvanized steel cable, steel cable guide, and snap hook for
attachment of lifting mechanism. The cable shall have a minimum travel distance of 15’-0” and have an adjustable cable
stop.
- The operator shall have the ability to shut-off the ratchet lock mechanism and the tension shall be externally adjustable by
use of a simple wrench, with no special tools required.
The BB-4 Balancer shall be a standard product of National System of Garage Ventilation (NSGV) in Decatur, IL or approved equal.
