Introducing the new Versace Unique Exotic Skin Collection
Versace presents the latest looks of the Versace Unique touch phone, indulged with exotic skins and only the richest
materials.
Following the success of the original Versace Unique models – the Lacquer Collection, launched in May 2010 – the
new collection of seven multimedia touch phones builds upon the tactile appeal of Versace Unique and turns the
glamour up a notch with the introduction of alligator and lizard skin.
The Touch of Luxury
The finger glides across the largest touch screen display currently on the market; the palm cradles the battery cover
in textured leather; the ear touches the cool ceramic of the inlaid front housing – a seductive, vibrant glamour
infuses each Versace Unique model, as the first full-featured multimedia touch phone in luxury mobile technology.
Ceramic adorns each model in the new collection, a material renowned for its lightweight durability, flawless purity
and modern appeal. Ceramic panels, engraved with Versace’s distinctive Greek key motif, require hours of skilled
handwork to inlay the panels between the frets surrounding the large sapphire crystal touch screen.
Combining Italian fine craftsmanship with state of the art technology, the seven new Versace Unique designs feature
an audacious mix of materials in the chromatic colour palette that defines the Versace aesthetic.
The Glamorous Pieces: Ceramic and Alligator Skin
Five models use alligator skin styled to stunning effect while sourcing all skins strictly in accordance with the
C.I.T.E.S. regulations. On the rear camera plate, each model also features an engraving of the emblematic Versace
insignia, a Medusa head encircled by the Greek key motif.
The yellow gold-plated 316L Stainless Steel body, with white alligator and white ceramic, epitomizes the classic
gold and white colour combination that is quintessentially Versace. When the yellow gold body contrasts with black
ceramic and black alligator, however, the style turns chic and sleek in a model that communicates the unflinching
yet discreet power of elegance. As an alternative to yellow gold, a third model contrasts a cool hand polished 316L
Stainless Steel body with black ceramic and black alligator, for an utterly modern and high-tech style.
A purely black version stands apart: in addition to the black ceramic panels and black alligator battery cover, the
core 316L Stainless Steel body is treated with a unique PVD coating for a distinctive, overall black finish. The result
is powerfully masculine with a subtle interplay of satin-brushed and polished parts on the rear camera and
loudspeaker respectively.
Finally, the alligator skin receives an unlikely twist: the core 316L Stainless Steel body and the alligator battery
cover are both treated with a rich, brown PVD coating. This stands in bold but warm contrast to mesmerizing rose
gold used in place of ceramic on the front Greek key motif, as well as on the top and side key buttons and rear
camera deco. The model features 18 grams of pure gold and a precious metal authentification stamp to mark this
truly exceptional model.
The Precious Pieces: Ceramic, Lizard and Diamonds
These two jewelled models are at the apex of extravagance: they are both functional pieces of technology, of course,
but they are also a quintessential example of a piece of modern jewellery.
The hand polished 316L Stainless Steel body features delicate brilliant-cut diamonds, black or white ceramic panels,
and black or white lizard – a striking and tactile exotic skin that is treated with a layer of protective gloss for added
sensuality.
Darkly opulent or luminously sophisticated, both models express a luxurious degree of glamour. As the first Versace
Unique models to feature diamonds, they have 120 stones each in total: a discreet line of ten on the front
loudspeaker, a set of 70 diamonds in rows flanking the Versace logo below the crystal sapphire screen, and 40
diamonds encircling the engraved Medusa head on the rear camera plate.
