Terms and Conditions
1. The competition starts on the 1st of August 2011 and ends on 30th of November
2011. Entries received outside of the competition period will not be considered
for the competition draw.
2. All information relating to this competition and published on any promotional
material will form part of the terms and conditions of entry.
3. The competition is open to all South African citizens except employees, directors
and agents of Holton & Associates cc, their immediate families, life partners,
business partners and associates and any person directly involved with the
devising, production, management or marketing of this competition are not
eligible to participate in this competition.
4. The judges' decision on any aspect of the competition including the allocation of
the prize will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
5. If required as a result of changes in legislation or if deemed necessary for any
other reason, Holton & Associates cc shall have the right to terminate this
competition immediately and without notice. In the event of such termination,
entrants agree to waive any rights that they may have in terms of this
competition and acknowledge that they have no recourse against Holton &
Associates cc, its agents and/or promoters.
6. Holton & Associates cc reserves the right to cancel, terminate or alter this
competition (including any prize) at any time and without notice and shall not be
liable for any claims whatsoever arising out of such cancellation, termination or
alterations. Holton & Associates cc further reserves the right to terminate this
competition immediately and without notice in the event that the competition is
held to be or becomes unlawful.
7. Neither Holton & Associates cc nor any other person or party associated with the
competition shall be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever incurred or
suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss), or personal
injury suffered or sustained in connection with either participation in this
competition or with any prize offered.
8. Neither Holton & Associates cc (including its employees) nor its agents shall be
responsible for any lost or misdirected entries, including entries that were not
received due to any failure of hardware, software, or other computer or technical
systems.
9. The competition draw will take place monthly on the 5th. Winners will be notified
by e-mail and/or telephonically.
10.Prize winners, on acceptance of the prize, assign to Holton & Associates cc and
Bitdefender all rights to publish their names and photographs in any promotion,
print, point-of-sale or public relations material for a period of 12 (twelve) months
from the ending date of the competition. The prize winners may be required to
appear and be identified in or on national and regional media at no fee. The prize
winners may be required to give their consent in writing to endorse, promote
and/or advertise any services of Holton & Associates cc and Bitdefender.
11.The prizes are not transferable, exchangeable and may not be redeemed for cash
and if not taken up for any reason, may be forfeited or be the subject of a
separate draw or be allocated at Holton & Associates cc’s discretion to another
winner.
12.Holton & Associates cc reserves the right to replace the prize with other prizes of
similar or lesser commercial value.
13.Winner may be required to present proof of purchase after name is drawn for
verification.
14.Any private information supplied will be kept secure and will not be shared with
any third party. Email addresses and cell phone numbers supplied will be used to
communicate to registered and entered users to update them regarding the
competition and Holton & Associates cc in general. Entrants acknowledge that by
entering the competition, they consent to receiving and opt-in to Holton &
Associates cc mailing list. Entrants may unsubscribe from this mailing list at any
time.
15.By entering the competition, entrants agree to accept these rules and to be
bound by them.
