POSITIVE WORDS FOR A PERSONAL STATEMENT
Using positive and active words helps to create a good impression, but only use them to describe
something you have actually done!
Be sure you know what the words mean. Don’t use too many or people will not take your
application seriously.
Add a word to a sentence which will then tell the provider something about you. For example:
‘I like doing sport’ is better written as ‘I am energetic and like to keep fit by playing sports.’
‘I have done some work in a music shop’ is better written as ‘I worked in a music shop organising
the stock and serving customers.’
