Provide elementary schools and K-8 Center administrators and teachers with information on the
newly developed mathematics SAT-10 Dailies for grades K, 1, and 2
The Division of Mathematics, Science, and Advanced Academic Programs is providing all
administrators and mathematics teachers of elementary schools and K-8 Centers, with
information on the newly developed Stanford-10, SAT-10 Dailies, for students in
Kindergarten and Grades 1 and 2.
The SAT-10 Dailies is a teacher-developed instructional tool to help teachers reinforce
instruction on basic mathematics concepts taught to students in Kindergarten and Grades 1
and 2 using items that also reflect the content and process clusters measured by the
Stanford Achievement Test-10.
The SAT-10 Dailies afford added practice and reinforcement of concepts that are being
taught and concepts that are revisited.
The daily practice provides opportunities for both multiple-choice and student constructed
responses during the school year leading up to the week of SAT-10 testing.
Getting Ready Dailies, during the fourth quarter, is available in preparation for the most
fundamental standards that students will encounter at the beginning of the next grade-
level. These Getting Ready Dailies ensure that students begin to familiarize themselves with
content that is specific to the next grade level expectations aligned to the standards.
The SAT-10 Dailies consist of a set of day-by-day questions to be used as practice during
each quarter of the year.
Each week includes five days of mathematics problems, with three items daily, for a total of
15 items per week.
The first quarter of the SAT-10 Dailies is available for Kindergarten, Grades 1 and 2 in the
Employee Portal as follows:
Principals – Principal Tab/Principal Document
Assistant Principals – AP Tab/ Assistant Principal Document
Teachers – Teacher Tab/Teacher District Document
Regional Centers can find the documents at the Curriculum and Instruction Collaboration
Site located at:
The SAT-10 Dailies for the remainder of the school year quarters will be posted at the
abovementioned sites prior to the beginning of each quarter.
