 Led team of up to eight people in managing national account worth up to ten million
  dollars for a one hundred million dollar a year sign manufacturing company.
 Managed all activities related to servicing the account, from proposal and contract,
  through design and production, to installation and customer service; as well as
  maintaining control of subcontractors, costs, billing and A/R.
 Led team in creation of a Program Management Template that clarified, quantified
  and streamlined all aspects of the day to day activities involved in servicing the
  account. This led to a reduction in process errors that had been costing the company
  market share with the customer. It also enabled the account to be run by fewer and
  less costly personnel.
 Conceived and produced sales video built around cutting edge LED technology for
  customer presentation as part of an attempt to regain market share.
 Designed and implemented solution to warranty repair issue that saved the company
  approximately eighty thousand dollars over the proposed alternative.
 Reduced A/R to less than ten percent of what it was when I was hired.

 Supervised and managed production requirements and client relations and had
  bottom line responsibility for accounts valued at up to fifteen million dollars per year
  for a fifty million dollar a year architectural millwork firm involved primarily in the
  manufacturing of retail store fixtures.
 Managed a team of up to twelve people directly and up to thirty five people overall.
 Duties included estimating, costing, production scheduling, supply chain
  management, including the procurement and shipping of metal components from
  offshore suppliers, inventory management, design, drafting and engineering
  oversight, quality control oversight, vendor development, selection and performance
  oversight, management of in-house production staff on a per project basis, creation
  and monitoring of sales orders, purchase orders and invoicing pertinent to each
  project, and all matters relating to client contact and satisfaction.

 This position required the effective use of Microsoft Project, Access, Excel, Word,
  Publisher, Powerpoint, Visio, Outlook, AutoCad, AutoDesk Inventor, Axapta ERP and
  Global Solutions MRP. I also am skilled in the use of several other CAD programs,
  Visual Basic, several accounting packages as well as graphics programs such as
  Photoshop and Corel.
 Prepared cost analyses and margin reviews to assess and monitor our profit position,
  particularly regarding our participation in online reverse auctions and constant
  competitive bid market pressures.
 Successfully developed alternative vendors, resulting in cost reduction of up to forty
  percent over previous providers.
 Value engineered designs to use off the shelf components, resulting in reduced costs
  and reducing supply chain and inventory problems.
