System Management Course Abstract
Course description
This course provides training in speech technology using WebSphere Voice Server. WebSphere Voice Server provides the
voice middleware that helps users speech-enable their solutions, so that information can be accessed from a Web browser,
telephone, or mobile device. The voice server is integrated into the WebSphere Application Server infrastructure, allowing it to
take advantage of the many features and tools the WebSphere Application Server provides. Additionally, the WebSphere Voice
Server includes connections to many telephony platforms that support the Media Resource Control Protocol (MRCP) standard.

Throughout this two-day course, students perform hands-on exercises to improve their understanding of WebSphere Voice
Server, including WebSphere Network Deployment and WebSphere Load Balancer. Lab exercises give students the
opportunity to install the products, use the configuration and management tools, and test their configurations using WebSphere
Voice Response for AIX.
