• 25 percent of women who use

fertility drugs have more than one

baby.

• The use of fertility drugs rose 37

percent from 1980-1996.

• Usually 1 in 90 women that do not

use fertility drugs have multiple

births.

• In-Vitro Fertilization and the use of

fertility drugs has led to a 344 percent

increase in multiple births.

• The average cost for children of

multiple births is $36,500.00 each.
